I have the black one with colorful indexes from last Fall (2022). Really like it and recently upgraded bracelet to a jubilee from Uncle straps. Much nicer and gives it a cool look on the jubilee. I had wanted the white one from this Summer (2023).. basically a white dial version of my black. But, it's ok. I didn't want to compete with the madness trying to buy one like I did last year. Got lucky refreshing the page as it was constantly showing sold out. I kept getting emails to let me know back in stock. Always too late responding to the emails. So, I just stayed on the page and refreshed every 5 minutes till it showed in stock and hit buy now immediately when it did. It's not just a co-branded DressKX with just a color change. There are quite a few details and I think visual upgrades that make it stand apart. Custom signed crown, domed crystal, lume on the outer rehaute chapter ring, framed date window, and some others.. I like how the overall design of these are inspired by the owner's own vintage Seiko 6106-7170 watch.
I really like the "barber pole" seconds hand, which expresses the RB part of the collab well. I've known of the brand for a long time, and have always respected their weird preppy pirate thing, even if most of the pieces wouldn't really work for me personally. But this is an application of the aesthetic that might be more doable. Tempting!
Out of curiosity... How do you know they are selling so well? Are you getting info directly from Seiko? Not trolling - just really curious where you get your info from... Some of the other versions appear to have sold well, but this one has been available for a while - doesn't appear to be selling as quickly as the other iterations have. Would it sell better without Rowing Blazers on the dial?
@@Chris-de2qc yeah but they are available almost on every distribution store site… meaning they are the ones who emptied out the Seiko and RB websites ;)
