Rowing machine analysis 

Solution to engineering mechanics problem of a rowing machine analysis. At the top of page two I wrote cylinder BC, but it should of course be BD. Also, there is no information given in the textbook question about whether there is another cylinder on the other side of the machine or whether the force is applied by one hand or two.
