First of all: No way. Second of all: How dead is tap dancing? I've been searching for 30 minutes for a decent tap dancing record and I can only find 15 years old videos with boring shit and this video is the best I got so far. A record from 1973 with absolutely no technology to prove those fake af 24 taps per second. I'd say 12 per second max! Like one foot can tap 12 times in one second... c'mon! That mic must've picked even the clicks from the baggy pants.
K40L4.....You are utterly clueless. Flatley was tapping 35+ taps per second 20+yrs later so 24 per second seems quite low compared. Stick to tiddlywinks which was also a record once held by a man who lived in the same small town as Roy castle by the name of Jim King. I know because i went to the same church as both guys mentioned here back in the 70'80's.
