Thank You for the update on the cause of Roy's death. With Roy you never knew what he would do or say . My heart goes out to his son and family. We all miss the show and enjoy the old episodes.
Loved this show! It was so addicting to watch and Roy was the reason why I kept watching it! The other 4 shippers made this worth watching! When Roy passed away, sadly the show died with him! I still watch the old episodes to remember his work and entertainment!
I just discovered this show and Roy and Muffy yesterday. Yer braking my heart. Please say that Muffy was restored to her family. I used to travel with my Kitty. I lost her last year and you can’t imagine my grief. Like Roy said. Anybody hurt that cat, there is no place on earth they will be safe. What a sweet guy.
Jen impressed me the way she handles those bills. I have worked with all kinds of cattle. One thing I noticed when I first started was, all the old cowboys limped!! All of them.
I saw him getting gas in Grand Ledge,Michigan. He was my favorite driver on the show. When I approached him he retreated to the cab of his truck like he was afraid of fans.
@@donnitacoble3952 the guy he was with talked to me and said it was contractual that he couldn’t speak to anyone who recognized him. He was just afraid of the fans but still my favorite driver.
This is what happens to alot of them guys.. I seen them stay on the road dont get regular check ups don't take care of themselves for over 40yrs. I was lucky I did just that or I would been another victim. I had alot of freind drivers die because of not seeing a doctor or ignoring the doctors. The road is unforgiving it will take you down over time , alot of stress and no sleep.
Rest in paradise Roy. I miss you on the show. It was not the same after Roy Garber died suddenly it just felt like it was a different show and then it went down. Watching Roy with Muffy and how he delivered the Buzz Lightyear to the boy who lost his Dad for free he truly was a wonderful person and he is missed by many myself included to this day. I watch the show every day on quest and it’s like dang knowing Roy is dead just feels different now than it was before I knew he passed away…
This is surprising. Roy was a good guy. Slim too. What's unique is that often heart issues are associated with overweight people. It afflicts slim people too. Often smokers. Rest in peace Roy.
I say this with great respect but as hard as Roy worked on some of those loads, it's a wonder he didn't die sooner. He sure knew all the rules of transporting goods and he was a genius with securing the loads.
I remember back when he passed away I knew the show was going to end and go down the drain. Roy was the Barry (Barry from Storage Wars) of Shipping Wars. If anyone remembers what happened with that show, when Barry left the show and went off the grid, the show went downhill and was never the same.
@Ronald Holland I would have to disagree with you on that one. He was a straight forward guy that didn’t take sh1t from anyone. Not to mention, he was probably over-dramatizing things just for the camera. Therefore, it is unfair to say that about him because you don’t know what he was really like off-camera.
Rest in love Roy. Thank you for being you always on the show and being straight up all the time with the customers . Condolences to the family . Love you brother
I absolutely hated Roy during the first seasons. Hated how cocky he was. Then I grew to love all the $hit he would talk. He was the best part of the show
I live in Australia and we have only just found out that Roy as passed away I must say Roy you were a complete a hole but nevertheless you made the show what it was but all jokes aside rest in peace Roy I believe that is more than you would ever have said 4 anyone else my condolences go out to the people that somehow loved you rest in peace you grumpy old bugger Roy you did make the show interesting are you never got knocked out is beyond me
He didn't get knocked out because it is just a show. And from what I gather, he was a hell of a good guy in real life! Rest in peace my brother, you are missed.
That was the poorest excuse for a bunch of hot shot trucking that I have ever seen. Nobody in their right mind keeps cutting the rate to get a load. By the time those idiots were done bidding they didn't have much left if there were any additional expenses and then it was always the shippers fault for not giving them the right information about the load.
Sorry to hear about his demise. I liked his attitude and any guy who travels with his cat is all good with me. As for that training exercise box maybe it wasn't a training exercise but the real deal and the man lied to cover up the truth and on the other hand why be so damn obvious. Carry classified stuff in a garbage truck or something that isn't like a neon sign. Who knows maybe there were dirty pictures in the box who cares the military usually carries classified stuff not a guy who travels with his cat. But what do I know? Or care,? I don't.
