On some live shows on RU-vid before the fight, I seen some guys say Crawford stops Spence 9/10 round, I always said Crawford will stop Spence Jr if they ever fight and especially after Spence jr's accident I said Crawford stops him, but I thought it will be late rounds by body shots
“Spence has nothing to prove, you took one style of fighting and dominated everyone in the division except the best fighter in boxing”. - Roy Jones Jr 🎯🎯🎯
Well from a fan’s perspective I disagree… he was mainly if not only in one division!! Spence needs to do more if he wants to be an all time great, which is definitely second to health .. but he still has more to do
@@chrisbennett6260 Spence wasn’t an is not an all time great , yet. U know why? Bc Garcia Ugas an Porter weren’t/aren’t all that anyway when u let the public tell it 🤷🏾♂️ even he said that was the east road 🤷🏾♂️
for just stating facts? Spence is one dimensional. he can't box at all. Kell Brooks was killing him for the first six rounds and gassed out. he is just all pressure. on the other hand, Crawford was born ambidextrous. he has no weak spots no matter if you are right or left-handed and he can switch to either and not be at a disadvantage.
They did. He didn't look great in both. He also got wobbled a few times against Ugas and his legs later in the fight were very unsteady. I'm a huge spence fan but since that crash there is something missing. That missing peice got found on Saturday night.
Its funny the kind of world we live in now, where logic and reasonableness is thrown out of the window. Boxing isn't table tennis, it is one of the most physical sport if not the most, how can spence survive that kind of accident, and we still believe he's still the same ? Fine, he's already an asset and big name, there is still money he can make despite his accident ,just like Roy Jones, said, you cannot come out of a car in that accident and be the same. We do not even need Doctors to advise us, that is common logic and sense.
@mayowaogunnaike9118 Amazing how everyone says this now whereas it was seen as a 50/50 beforehand. I only seen an uncompetitive win by Crawford but it seems everyone knew it now. RU-vid is amazing that you can actually see what comments people have left. It seems you've never left anything of the sort
Giving TC his flowers 💐. I’m praying for ESJ I want him to heal 100% physically, mentally and spiritually. Spence will always be my fighter 🇯🇲. Got nth but respect for both fighters true champions ❤
@@geoffreywillars1032 He was afraid of Wilder too before he battered him 3 times if you remember the word about 6-7 years ago. Same thing with AJ but he got walloped long before Fury got to him. I'm fed up of his antics honestly, but fear is a massive stretch
Roy Jones has all of the credibility in the world because of who he is, fights he has been in and his attitude toward other fighters. He is very articulate. Why he isn't on ESPN or SHO calling fights is beyond me. He should be a top boxing analyst today like his days with HBO.
I wish people could see the Roy I saw growing up! He was unbeatable in his prime (and I hate that saying) but he really was, Roy along with Nigel Benn are the hero’s I had growing up but that’s my era so people will always dispute that! But I hope people realise how good this man was and who he inspired
Roy Jones Jr, one of the greatest, and fastest to ever do it, amongst many tough fighters from back in the day, he started off as a middleweight and then later in his career won a heavyweight title. People should take what he’s saying seriously 💯.
Another reason I love and respect Roy...you can tell he genuinely feels bad for how Spence took his comments and opinions so personally and is attempting to apologize and make it right.
Roy made a lot of sense when he spoke on Boots fighting the other guy for the chance at Crawford.. I think Boots need at least one more fight with a top contender before he get in there with Crawford who already has the experience advantage.
7:50. Roy got so much love and respect, he didn’t even wanna answer that question. Roy a real dude, and he really got love 4 Spence, even tho he team Crawford. Much respect Roy💯 Damn Roy💪
What a legend... always enjoy listening to his insight. Surprise surprise, another person from the elite world of boxing that Eubank Jnr hasn't listened to.
Roy Jones Junior one of the greatest of all times. It was a pleasure watching him in the Olympics all the way up to winning the heavyweight championship of the world. Pure talent
Funny Roy spoke about the 1 style. I kept saying that about Dontey wilder. I was very surprised to see him reach as far as he did with 1 punch 🥊 in the heavy weight division. And it showed through the trilogy of him and Fury.
Wow, thank you Roy. Your comments are spot on. Of which is the same comments I made to my wife prior to the fight. The ability to adjust is what makes Crawford different. Thanks for explaining and breaking it down.
Congratulations Bud; outstanding display of talent… I’m a fan of the sport 1st , though ESJ is my favorite boxer and it was hard to see him get defeated like that…. It’s boxing and now it’s TC’s moment.. dude deserves top billing !
Roy is one of my favorites but like many ppl he sat on the fence with his prediction, saying if Crawford wins he dominates early and if Spence wins he dominates late is not predicating a fight, the fight was a complete domination from Bud and anyone that didn't say that shouldn't be lapping it up now.
I withdraw my former objection to Roy raising the issue of the car accident. When I reflect on Spence's recent slurred speech before the fight, when you look at photos of Errol before the accident and after this fight, it's becoming increasingly evident there's been some neurological damage. Thanks Roy for pointing this out.
I still remember watching the tarver fight. Jones would have won that easy, but he got carried away and dropped his guard, playing it easy, and then got caught .
I always thought Bud was the superior fighter technically. I gave Spence a shot because as a strong pressure fighter he may have been able to speed Bud up and land something big. He did that in the third and Bud ate it. I was shocked to see Bud hurt Spence and knock him down with his jab. This was like seeing a great pitcher throw a perfect game. I had Bud winning but not like this.
The thing is, Spence would need different boxing attributes to beat a guy like Bud. I've always seen more versatility in Bud but thought that Spences' strength and durability would over compensate for what he lacks in versatility. Bud proved to be able to match him in the things EJ did best, plus out match him at things he doesn't do as well. He is still my guy, and I support Spence going forward!
ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE BEST INTERVIEWS I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. YOU ARE VERY GOOD AND POLITE! AND WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT ROY, I LOVE HIM AND HIS SPIRIT, I’M A HUGE FAN OF HIS.
Roy Jones is a legend and spoke facts about both fighters! He has the advantage of actual applied knowledge of the sport and gave an expert analysis of both
Roy lost me when he brought up the car accident because Errol made zero excuses. That's how it should be. Errol handled that loss like a man and a champ. Big respect to him.
Roy Jones was the Greatest fighter, with the greatest physical talent and IQ that I've ever seen in my time. His perspective on the fight is spot on. Roy's perfessional opinion seen Bud's skill set being better. And it is. 💯💯💯
That weight drop by Roy Jones for the Tarver fight definitely affected his fight with Tarver. When it was announced that Roy was fighting Tarver after beating Ruiz at heavyweight, I could not believe it and said NOOOOO! Tarver is a great boxer but in my opinion Jones would have beaten him if Jones did not have to loose that much weight.
Actually, it was the move up to HW that started his problems. Since he had no intentions of staying at that wt, it wasn't worth it IMO. Technically, he did move down to his former wt class, but I prefer moved up.
Jones beat Tarver the 1st time square and fair. He should’ve retired after that to protect his legacy. Now, ppl talk shit Jones when they don’t know shit of shit. In his prime, I’ll pick him against any middleweight up to light heavyweight in history of boxing. He had god gifted reflexes and the power in both hands.
All due respect to Roy Jones another great fighter. However, if we are talking about the best middleweights in history, then we have to arguably consider the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson in his era and later on Marvelous Marvin Hagler in his era(especially Hagler in his prime ).
