Respect to George Foreman. 👊🏿 Respect to Terence. 👊🏿 A phenomenal performance. Respect to Errol. 👊🏿 He refused to quit. A MESSAGE TO BOXING FANS & BOXING MEDIA. IF YOU WANT GREAT FIGHTS IN THEIR PRIME. STOP MOCKING FIGHTERS WHEN THEY LOSE.
Spence is a top 10 pound for pound fighter. Literally anybody in 147-154 that’s not Crawford, Spence demolishes. Crawford went Super Saiyan on Saturday, but let’s see how Spence handles his first loss. We might or might not witness Spence’s Super Saiyan moment. Sometimes all it takes is that loss. I wanna see him perfect his footwork, counterpunching, and hand speed, alongside a better S&C regimen. Bud’s motivation was the naysayers and everyone counting him out. Now Spence’s motivation is to get it back in blood. He’s cut from a different cloth. Even if he don’t win the rematch, I promise we’re gonna see a different Spence for the better.
Mr. Foreman said that you can't box a boxer, which is true, but in the case of Crawford, the problem with that is, Bud has the ability to out box you AND out PUNCH you. Crawford once literally stopped a fighter on a body shot. He's like prime Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Etc. where they can straight up fight as well as they can box. Simply put, Crawford is in a different league then Spence.
Losers give up when they are down. Ali lost to Frazier the first fight. Did he give up? Ali was out of boxing due to the war and came back. People who tell you to give up after you fall should never give advice.
Yeah and neither 1 of them was cut up and busted up bleeding like that he cant take that punishment he got to stay away from him he will lose the match that way theyll call it from blood loss on the fact he wouldn't he able to see to fight.
@@takelasmith406Boxers have a different mind set than the average person in the street. We have seen fighters get KTFO only to come back and get their revenge.
Look he can try again and win or get another ass whoop.. persistence doesn't equals success sometimes it's insanity. One needs to know when to stop. People who tell you to keep marching to your death should never give advice...
People lost millions on this fight. 🗣️SPENCES don’t listen to these people they don’t care if you die in that boxing ring they trying to win back that money they lost by betting against you this time smh 🤦🏾
😅😅😅😅 I'm not trying to be funny on the health aspect of what you're saying! You are totally correct. I never saw spence as a threat to Crawford. I saw Keith Thurman as a threat!
car accidents, broken or detached retina , 15 month lay I expected Spence to lose this fight now he has the opportunity to come back stronger and better in the rematch even if he still loses I expect a more contested bout
Spence got his ass whipped by the p4p #1 boxer. Spence down. Now Thurman want’s to get his ass whipped One time. Welcome to the Bud Crawford Era ladies and gentlemen. 🥊
You have to be tactical on assessments. 1. Spence doesn’t need to retire. He needs a significant amount of time off. 2. During that time off, obviously, it’s to heal. BUT, he needs to retool. He needs to add to his bag. 3. People are saying he looked bad. If you’ve ever been hit in your ear, your equilibrium is off. The 2nd knockdown was straight to his ear. Your equilibrium takes a while to come back. He was done after that 2nd knockdown. His balance was way off. 4. Boxers know, styles make fights. This was a very bad fight for Spence. He could have been in perfect shape, and it wouldn’t have mattered. His style is perfect for Bud. Spence can come back, but he needs time for healing AND retooling. He has never had any movement. Heal for three months, get back in the gym and retool, and he can make some things happen at 154/160. Take about 3 fights of C fighters to put the new retooling to use and get sharp again, and he can be at or close to the top again. However, if he doesn’t change his style, he will just be a top five fighter in whatever weight class, but not dominant.
I felt sorry for Spence. Noone loved him enough to tell him the truth. And the truth was he just wasnt up to it. They knew it but everyones pay packet was riding on this young blood. And then you know what happens? They die in the ring or on the streets when they're dried up and done.
Idc what anyone says, that was not EJ that stepped out to fight ‘Bud! I said very little about the fight before it because I knew it was a mistake to take that fight after a 18 month layoff, Bud had too much momentum, and Errol looked like a fighter that hasn’t fought in 18 months! That’s on Darren James and his team for sending him out there like that
If you watched the fight bud could’ve did more damage to Spence. He kept looking at the ref and he never stopped the fight. Fight was suppose to been stopped in the 5th round.
Advanced head movement training, put 2 pound weights around each of Errol's wrist and have him do speedbag punching (with the weights on) heavy bag (without the wrist weights), footwork training....concentrating on cutting of the ring then "targeted punching" (jaw, temple, eye, bridge of nose, ears, left/right sides of neck, sternum, rib and liver shots (aim 2 to 3 inches above the waistline from left to right side of waist) Exercises - basic calisthenics (push ups, crunches, pull ups and dips) PLYOMETRICS, swimming, bike riding, sauna once a week 45 min to an hour. Counterpunching taught by a martial artist (preferably Jeet Kune Do trainer) One year to year and a half of all these suggestions made into a training plan/regiment and if he were to start training two months from now by New Years Day 2025. Errol would be ready to knock Crawford clean out and do more damage than Crawford did to him (significantly more). I would put thousands of dollars on that version of Spence (at 154 pds). Guaranteed.
@@jayshah9967 If Spence incorporated what I suggested into his training regiment for the next year (minimum) the rematch would be a different fight. If Spence didn't win, it would be a draw, at worst. I'd put my life on it. He's only 33, and it would have to be at 154. Not giving him an excuse, I just personally didn't like how he looked at weigh-in.
@@jayshah9967 From Tae Kwon Do at 11, advanced combat hitting skills in the Marines (96-2000), Marine Corps Boxing League (one year 1997), close quarters fighting, several studies from Jeet Kune Do to basic jiujitsu and the study of Dim Mak (pressure point attacks). By no means am I an expert, but utilize those techniques and that would turn any fighters (in top tier shape of course), into a pure savage. Deontay Wilder could benefit from it, but for him....I cut away half of this and just concentrate on the basics in the half I'd use. Too big, too old and his legs are developed enough for that entire regiment. Errol is still 2 to 3 years away from his prime, granted the long term effects of those accidents he was in.
Your sonsad buddy wasynothing wrong with spence until he fought Crawford excuses wasn't nothing wrong with spence in his two fights before Crawford and after the accident same song from you spence junkies bottom line is this add it up nobody said nothing was wrong with spence till he fought Crawford
He going to lose again no matter what five years ago he still would have lost that's why he never wanted to fight crawford said that years ago he would make Spence look like an amateur
I've been in plenty of fights growing up, wrestled in high school, and even at 41 now I train in boxing. The skill gap is too large here and these aren't heavyweights so the chances of Errol sparking Crawford with just one shot will be hard. Spence had zero head movement, footwork was trash, and walked straight forward. He also lunged on punches which got him put down the first time. These are all fundamental things we learn consistently in class.
Respect to Mr Forman but Errol has zero chance. There wasn't anything in that fight that showed you he has some hope. It's inspirational to say get back up and try again but it's also insanity to keep going down a road that could take your life or health.
You can FIGHT every kind of boxer and fighter when you got power like BigGeorge...its not everyones cup of tea 😂 Mad respect to one of the greatest heavyweights in history
Spence cannot beat Terrence even if you retrain him. Terrence can anticipate a punch. No sir he can't back in the day they really trained like Crawford does. So you can't compare what they did back then to now.
This comment section is full of people who most likely have limited knowledge on boxing or sports in general. Losing in whatever manner doesn't mean the loser is trash and should retire. What idiots 😂. Some time off to train and work out for a pro athlete should cause for improvement. Foreman is right.
@@wilcee238crying? Very quick to use the word crying as if that makes you superior! You're probably one of the biggest snitches when 💩 goes down! GTFOH!!
@@spenser6353 boxing for heavyweights. Completely different game with lighter smaller welterweight fighters who usually don't have the luxury of 200 plus pounds of mass behind their punches.
@@spenser6353apparently he doesn’t and a lot of other boxers thought Crawford was getting stopped. They were all wrong. Foreman just trying get relevant again lmao
plenty of others who know boxing and predicted the fight perfectly are saying Spence has no chance and got beaten up so badly that he will never be the same. Didn't Foreman say Spence would win? He says Spence needs to stay close instead of box, but Crawford was superior at range and up close including in the clinch. Spence will never beat Crawford.
I have tremendous respect, even admiration for George Foreman as a boxer. And even more so as a person. He's a person of considerable intelligence and character. But I just cannot agree with his assessment here. I just cannot see how Spence can beat Crawford who outboxed and outpunched him in the first fight. He was outclassed in every department.
That wasn’t the 100% percent Crawford if Errol thinks he can beat Crawford he needs a lot of training Crawford was fighting him south paw the whole fight
Bud was hitting Spence in between Spence's punches. More volume means more counters. While Big George is nice, he's wrong sometimes. I remember he was predicting a Trinidad knockout WHILE Hopkins was battering him..!😮😅
@@spenser6353The man just unified and DOMINATED a former undefeated 3 belt holder and you still can’t give Bud his praises , still have to doubt him. 🙄
Big George, you are completely out of line. At no point did Errol land anything hard on Crawford. It is easy to see that Crawford is by far the better boxer, more power, quicker, smarter, etc. Best thing for Errol is to not have a rematch, if they do fight again it will only be worse for Errol. My hope is Errol knows when to say when and lives a long healthy life.
George is talking about what boxing used to be and should return to. Take the hard fights and if and when you lose, you get the back to the drawing board and become better. All these guys ducking each other and running up these inflated undefeated records is hurting the sport. For Spence to be knocked down for the first time in his career and he’s like 35 is wild. Not saying he’s not that good I’m saying he’s never been challenged. Normally I roll my eyes at the back in my day stuff from old heads but they are spot on when it comes to boxing. Spence can comeback from this if he made of the right stuff
@@brandoneverett3239the problem is guys dont fight period. Spence fought once in 2020 no fights in 21 one fight in 22. Top guys fight once a year. But its actualky more dangerous cause guys are rusty and not in rythm end up taking beatings like this you gotts stay active to stay sharp
You have no idea what you just witnessed! Because you've never seen a fight like that before! I meant that with no respect! You're so unaware that you don't know Big George suffered a defeat worse than Spence!
Only way Spence has a chance is if Crawford goes out and becomes the town drunk the night before. His jab got taken away, there was nothing Errol could do. You can't beat what you can't hit, no disrespect to Foreman.
Spence got that Joshua chin that’s all. He can’t take a punch like we thought and he always seemed slower to me after the incident. He slurs when he talks and there might be some real internal damage to Spence we don’t know about. He was way over confident for the fight almost delusional in a way. Gorge Forman doesn’t sound like riddick bowe when he talks Spence does he sounds punch drunk already at a young age.
James murray, Oh Man Thank you, Thank you Thank you George Foreman A Great Legendary Hall Of Famer and Heavy Weight Champion putting it all in it,s proper persoective when Chris Brussard asked George do he feel Spense can beat Terrance Crawford in the Rematch and he replied by saying ( YES And Big George Foreman is right, Terrance Crawford is on CLOUD-NINE AND HIS HEAD AND HIS EGO IS BIGGEST A HOUSE, For the way he beat Spense that was,nt at the Peak of his Capabilities, and had over-trained and making that 147-pound weight and his In--activity. RUSHMORE THANK YOU SO MYCH GEORGE FOREMAN GREAT INTERVIEW.
I'm pro-Spence and Crawford. Bud did what he had to do and is p4p#1. This is so unfortunate that folks are thinking about boxing and profits that they ignore the obvious. Spence shouldn't be in the ring again. It's evident he has neurological damage. In fact, we all know he hasn't been the same since the accident as it's been noted he looks off-balanced. His eyes were glassy and at times he looks lost. He fought guys who allows him to hide his weakness which is lateral movement. Watch the fight again and you'll notice Derrick James told Spence to start moving laterally and not back and forth and Spence was unable to do it. A part of neurological damage doesn't allow one to move laterally because they feel off-balanced. You don't just bounce back from a trauma to the body (100+ mph crash) without being affected in some way or another. Look at his speech pattern pre-accident and now. Pay attention to how at times it seems he has no idea what he wants to say. Spence took 15 months off on purpose because he and his team knew he wasn't ready. They tried to salvage what they had left. Spence even said post-fight his body isn't responding. That's more than ring rust. I wish Spence had someone prominent in his life (so-called coach of the year) to not encourage him to continue. George is giving terrible advice by encouraging him to screw with Crawford again. This man is going to receive even more permanent damage. Think about it, we have never seen Crawford look this dominant against any other opponent. Spence is a shell of his past. Its suicide to get back in there.
All well and good saying need to be crude and hard take it to him, but Bud 2as stronger, punched harder, better boxer. He physically couldn't take it to him, try as he might. For all they say about Spence being damaged or drained, which he may well be, Crawford is truly special. Can't see him losing any time soon unless he goes up to Cruiserweight lol
Errol Spence is no George Foreman. Crawford will destroy him again. Errol needs to stay away from Crawford. If Errol is walking down fifth Ave and he sees Crawford coming in his direction, he better run for his life.
I respect George Foreman, but Schmeling had nowhere near the skills that Crawford has. Also, Lewis didn’t go through a death defying car crash. I have to disagree here.
That weight drain took all of Spence engery the rematch would be better at 154lbs were Spence can still have his legs & full power. Lets see if Crawford really good
I respect foreman's opinion but .....Spence ain't coming back and beating Crawford...Crawford figured Spence out and beat him so badly that he MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY broke him look at how defeated Errol's Spence face looked at that post fight interview he was humiliated this wasn't like when George foreman got tired against Ali and ran out of gas in this case Spence was prime and ready he just could not compete with the level of skills that Crawford had he had no answers he got broken Down after a beating like that he might not ever be the same Crawford knows how to beat Spence it will only be a worse beat down If they rematch
ERROL WAS TO LET BUD COME TO HIM ‘ HE IS NOT A COUNTER PUNCHER MUCH ‘ SO YOU DONT ATTACK OUR KIND “ACTIVE SOUTHPAW” .. SO HE CAN ONLY FIGHT A BETTER FIGHT ‘ YET NOT WIN .. THATS HOW BUD LANDED OVER 50% OF HIS SHOTS ‘ ERROL TEAM DID NOT PREPARE HIM !
