Interview with Roy Wood for the Base Sessions. www.basestudios... / basestudios Base Sessions videos are recorded and produced by Base Studios in Rufford Road, Stourbridge.Directed and filmed by Warren Evans
Roy is so comfortable sitting down for an interview. I've loved Roy Wood since he was in The Move and followed him ever since. What a genius a lovely down to earth guy and a massive, massive legend. It's time that Roy was knighted for all that he's done for music and he put the Birmingham/ West Midlands music scene on the map ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Roy deserves far better than he ever gets, he was such a huge part of my life over the years, his influence can be heard all over. They need to induct Roy into the Rock & Roll hall of fame on his own, not taking anything away from Jeff Lynne but Roy started everything
Roy wood is great guy . and i like to know who dress the interviewer . really at least look abit better mate . great to see Roy with us bless ... and my first girlfriend is in one of he's videos ..wish it could be Christmas everyday ... lovely
Great interview. Thanks for posting. Such a humble guy Roy Wood. Comes across great. The Move songs must be the most underrated pop songs in history. Some amazing songwriting by Roy then, at such a young age and no doubt under a lot of pressure from different sources to deliver.
Let's not get carried away......Roy certainly was a talented dude , but the Move early years were the classic years......after around '68 Roy realized his ambition to become a sort of heavy Beach Boys for a while. And after that his main achievement was with Wizzard to write a christmas tune we are tortured with almost every december .
Who hurt you? The man is a national treasure, nothing but nice to everyone, and beloved by millions of people. You're disparaging his physical appearance. Great!
@@PAULLONDENThat was genuinely good of you to do that. All the way back in 1982 I sent Roy some of my picture sleeve records to the recording studios he was using Shingrix and he was kind enough to sign and return them. As a young fan that one act of kindness spoke volumes to me about him as a person. Bless you.
Good grief!! You get to interview a music legend and dress like you've been thrown out of bed and couldn't make your mind up what to put on. At least try to look like you respect the man. Looks like you couldn't care less.
I was about to remark on the same thing. To dress in a slovenly manner shows no respect for the person you are seeing. Perhaps there is some king of joke going on here that we don't get. In any case I am sure beautiful Roy would not take offense- from all accounts he is a lovely person. Love ya Roy!
yeah i think so dirty bugger think he would have had a bloody wash tho lol.. he's also thinks he cool . he's been around for years why i dont know lol ...thanks for the comment .
maybe mate becuz he isnt a bloody pedo ... just a thought ..becuz it seems a lot of them are hey ! ... but he should be tho ... one of the girls in the video is my first girlfriend and she told me a few months ago Roy said no i come with you . becuz that shit Cary clitter wanted to show her around after doin this video . now she understands why Roy was keeping a eye on her ... so they know some thing wasn't right back then . so good on you Roy !
Sorry, it was lovely of her to paint Roy, but I don't think much of her rendition. She has not captured Roy well - the face is not a true representation of his soul.
