WOW.. I'm glad that the Prince and Princess decided to have their first child in the same manner as the late Princess Diana (may she rest in peace) did! That shows me that they're going to try and give their child the most normal up bringing as possible. Incorrect, many schools were already integrated BEFORE Brown V Board of Education. Especially in non white schools which were not just all black. Also, in 1940 30% of Americans, 40% of Northerners and 2% of Southerners, believed that Whites and Blacks should attend the same schools. By 1956, 49% of Americans, 61% of Northerners and 15% of Southerners, believe that Whites and Blacks should attend the same schools. So no, it was not opposed throughout the US. Just mostly in Southern states.
I'm an American and I am excited. I love babies but this is also history in the making. How many ppl can say in this day on age that they will be even in our history books.
I am white and not once have I been denied a job, health benefits or education over a non white, and I live in Southern California of all places. lol Actually it was opposed by only small fringe groups in the South. Many white people supported it and the US Supreme Court (which was all white) unanimously agreed that it was a violation of the 14th amendment. Also, many southern schools were desegregated before the ruling of Brown v Board of Education.

I think all people should have a right to live wherever they want, including white people. That is why I support multiculturalism. Cultural segregation means having no choice over who you associate with. Multiculturalism means you have absolute freedom over who you associate with. I support freedom. Do you?
