Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RU-vid channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

I’ve watched every episode for the last 3 years. This was by far my favorite. Course and setting were pristine. Camera work was spot on. Entertaining as hell. Robbo needs to be a guest on at least one episode per month. Keep up the good work guys.

Guys, the camera work and tracers into the sun on the 6th hole were absolutely spectacular. I said "wow" out loud when I saw the first tracer.. Well done on everything but that was especially cool!

Great video. I think the last few weeks have demonstrated why Rick is so successful and why he is a national treasure. Detractors will always fire shots at those enjoying the rewards of success, without first comprehending why it has occurred. Rick and his crew are genuine, relatable and a pleasure to watch and listen to. Most importantly, he hasn’t ‘sold-out’. What you see is what you get. This, moving forward will become even more critical as mega-corporations seek to drive their agenda and narrative by buying up successful channels. Long live Rick Shiels, good luck sir.

Great match! Incredible course. You don't need 7500 yards to make it a challenge. Well played Guy! Strong finish. I love James's game. He's like Buddha out there. He rejoices in his good shots and doesn't let the odd poor shot effect the next one. I'm 74 years old and while I can't do a lot to stop the march of time on my body, I can work on my mental approach to the game and this series is really great to see how the game affects people and the quality of their game. For me this is more important than any tweaks to my technique. In the years I have left to play I want to enjoy playing golf and become mentally and emotionally stronger. You three are a really good combination and I hope we see more of you.

This was my favourite Break 75. Great to see the 3 x targets and each of you had moments where you were sailing and then needed to hang on. James is like the platonic ideal of a golfing partner, wears his talent lightly and makes you want to improve just by seeing him swing.

Honestly how a good a golfer is James the guy is unbelievable can’t believe he’s still not a pro he’s just so consistent. Just shows you the levels in golf, Rick is obviously a great golfer even Guy looks like he plays of less than 10 anyway, but James looks like prime tiger next to them. What a player !!!

James is a Pro. He's my coach and was on the Euro tour, played in the Open in 2018 (!) and still holds the course record in Valderama... James is a serious golfer believe me! And a great bloke!

Rick great video as always. Stop trying to force birdies and eagles. Par golf will break 75 every time. All pros advice is for people to hit one more club. Don’t try and smash. Play par golf and the birdies will come.

This is honestly one of the best golf contents on RU-vid. And with the addition of James and Guy it makes it one of my favorite break 75s to date. As much as I can enjoy GG or BDS sometimes too, this is the real GOLF, what they do is just playing games at the golf course. My hcp is very similar to Guy’s so especially watching him being a part of these I always find very entertaining.

Have watched nearly all your videos of the last 2 and a half years and this is probably my favourite videos. It showed perfectly the difference between the 3 golfers even though it was only 5 shots per player. I always enjoy any video that includes James. I also have to say a big thanks to Rick for getting me back interested in golf. Although I’m a 20 plus handicap your videos have given me something to want to play for. My first aim is to play consistently as a 1 over par golfer and your videos on how to achieve that give me confidence that I can do it

Watching again. Thisvcourse looks AMAZING on my TV screen. As I've related previously, we simply don't see this here in the USA. I really appreciate you bringing this to us. In fact most of us couldn't handle the ruggedness once off the fairway. When I watch this I see "golf as God intended it." Thank you so much.

Great game! Just to point out the tech Rick (or his crew) is using in this vid, check around 20:45, what a crisp view of the play, staring directly into the sun! Not many cameras today are able to capture this in such clarity 👍

And the redemption arc for Guy was perfect! Loved this one guys, you should do this format more often. Congratulations to Guy on scoring 77 on what looked a difficult course. He must be pleased with this. And that shot by Rick, that went in the hole and jumped out 🤦‍♂ I would have cried😭 …….But what made this so enjoyable to watch, was James, how good is he 😲 He made this game look so easy (we know it’s far from it). Everything about his game seemed so effortless and smooth. Why he’s still not on the tour, I don’t know.
