They've tremendously improved live. His singing has become much more controlled and clear. And I think they've stopped drinking before performing which also contributes to their improvements. Fresh outfits by the way.
Well, certainly drinking before performing a rock n roll concert has its benefits, but I prefer this concert over, for example, their Reading Fest set from 2015, where they clearly are had a little too much to drink. They were amazing live before, but now I feel they've become more experienced.
yeah man I've never got the chance to experience them live, however I am sure that the atmosphere in the venue could greatly benefit from a loose frontman who is lost in his music, but if a footage from that concert emerges here on RU-vid or anywhere else, the aura might not be felt from the home viewers as much as from the people at the venue. That being said I think we can both agree that Royal Blood are a class band both in the studio and live.
speechless. HEROES. I think the sound systems in movie theatres (DTS? Dolby? Sony...whatever) should use a Royal Blood number to be their music demonstration . I cannot think of anything better than this !
I’ve seen so many people say that they seem to be playing slower, that’s true with some songs like Come on Over due to the complexity of what Mikes playing, the man can only go so fast
Normally, as a drummer, it takes me maybe 2 seconds to get the groove pattern down, but I could not for the life of me lock in with what he was doing. I'm sure in their in-ears it sounded right, but i think we were missing the kick portion which is a HUGE part of the groove!
Owing allegiance to early Sabbath ? Amazing !,... a bass player with a very fine voice and a drummer as solid as hell !. Are they from the seaside town of Bournemouth ?. The USA WILL LOVE 'EM !.
My grandfather William Hertel died in 1968 and his estate was stolen in 1983 Ozone Park New York City,,, when my grandma died the life estate did not go where was supposed to go when she died.
is it me or does it feel like the tone from his bass is limited and sounds nothing like how it sounds on the album? there is no mids or highs in his tone.
