These guys are amazing, I feel really sorry for when it comes to making a second album, they're gonna have to make something amazing to beat the first one.
This guys effects rig is pretty amazing. He's found a great formula for sure. Now if he can keep from remaining one dimensional for several releases, that will be cool! Then again, ACDC made a career out of one dimension, so...
I'd say of Royal Blood already, heard one song heard em all, and it's fairly pedestrian. Without the bass&drums&thatsit gimmick they'd not really be anything.

Moshing's alright and that, but you don't need to mosh to enjoy good music. I think what was more of a disgrace was the underage kids attempting to mosh and failing terribly at it.
Never understood people who think it's necessary to start a pit to enjoy good music, half the time people that get in pits are little pussies that if put in a real pit at a mental gig would stand there crying whilst getting beaten. Shut up and enjoy the music, people can enjoy music in whatever way they desire.

I was voicing my opinion which I feel very strongly about, having put up with soft little pricks moshing at gigs where it makes them look foolish. Starting a pit at Arctic Monkeys for example. Just pathetic. If I go to a metal gig, Slipknot for example I'm going to in January, I expect there to be pits, proper pits I might add. But Royal blood are a two piece rock band, and don't need a pit. Out of curiosity, might I ask why you enjoy pits so much? I've been in a few myself and don't find it particularly great falling over and pushing strangers around... Whatever, I'm in to the music itself and go to gigs to enjoy the music and appreciate the musicianship...

Well there you have,it theres no need to spend thousand of euros or dolares to have a good sound that Gretsch Junior Jet bass is playing cost only 290 euros or 250 US.
I don't know what all is going on there, but it actually sounds like a bass and a guitar playing, not an effect. It's like the bass side is slightly delayed to make it sound more like two guys playing. Whatever it is, it's f'ing awesome!
Its due to the bass signal being split between two (well atleast two) speakers. I don't think there's an actual delay effect. It's just a matter of how the sound waves are bouncing out of the speakers
And then he's either turning the bass side off in parts, then kicking it back in to make it sound more real OR the bass side cuts out when he hits the higher notes. I dunno. But it sounds very real to me!

Es como la continuación de White Stripes o de Animals as Leaders. y comenté eso poarque Mike Kerr, el bajista, usa un bajo Fender con escala de 30 pulgadas cuando la costumbre hoy es usar bajos de 34 o 35 pulgadas. El Sr. Kerr obtiene un sonido potente que elimina la necesidad de guitarristas en la banda.
