hey guys, sorry for not having entered this account, here is a folder with Space, Half the chance and Cheap Affection in flac format, except for Space that I only found in MP3. drive.google.com/drive/folders/17IgMJ-8NROB3cRNL6XAgMRmttQg1Lv0U
Nah their best song isn’t even finished yet and hasn’t been in more then 5 years. instead it’s available as a low quality upload by a random fan on youtube.
These guys have it all. Wondering how much Josh Homme had to do with it. Definitely hearing alot of the same sound as QOTSA. But seriously every fucking song is badass.
Im finding all sorts of neat guitar parts, and other things! I could emagine how you could add another style with this and mixing it could be amazing! Altough this track is good on its own! God it would be fun if I had some free time to make a video for this with lots of colour!!! Don't hold me to that down to road! Even if someone else did I'm sure it would be awesome!!!! I like this track, for some reason my cell is being bugged again I should delete some pictures and see if I can download this
[Verse] Trust you To show up here tonight of all nights Don't say I didn't warn you Didn't I? Another drawn-out evening What a big surprise You'd act as though you're leaving Not act on your desire Refuse but don't you deny [Chorus] Now you're staring at space In the palm of your hand Getting what you can take Taking what you think you can Now you're staring at space In the palm of your hand Don't it seem like a waste? Taking what you think you can [Verse] Catch me Seems I'm failing into your arms Watch me I wander off into the dark We both know it's no secret When we could, we might Just two broken pieces Forced to fitting tight Oh no, here comes that sinking feeling We shoot for the stars Only just hit thе ceiling [Chorus] Now you're staring at space In thе palm of your hand Don't it seem like a waste? Taking what you think you can Now you're staring at space Always looking for a better man See the look on your face Take it if you think you can [Outro] Take it if you think you can Taking what you think you can Now I'm staring at space In the palm of my hand Don't it seem like a waste? Taking what I think I can Just staring at space Thinking I'm the better man See the look on my face I'll take it if you think I can While staring at space Staring at space
King was a b side yeah, because it was on the b side of one of the singles, I cant remember which one, b side doesn't mean it wasnt on the album it's being the other side on a single, space is it's own single and king is a b side

@@joshellis1041 it's not always about the quality of song brotha, remember how commercially viable will be a major factor. This song isn't as easily digestible to the regular listener as the main tracks on the album. Not to say I disagree with you though, this is a fucking tune.
@@ShayCovers totally agree with you suppose it was just my personal preference don’t get me wrong I love the new album just feel that this is a banger that isn’t gonna get the attention that other songs will because it’s a b-side

This and King should definitely have been on the album. There's two meh tracks somewhere in the middle that could have had their place taken by something better like this.
@@thesilverfish5 that first blue stones album was really solid a few songs were a bit poor but that was mainly the production, my favourite is little brother and black holes
I really liked the song, but I think they made a good decision to not included in the album since it does not seem to fit with the typhoon's atmosphere
@@RonReynolds yeah...it just isn’t it for me. I mean, it’s not bad, I just loved their old pure rock sound so much. All the songs on the new album have too much weird backing vocals for mean and sound very similar to each other. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good for bands to try different things, but the album isn’t my favorite. Still love the band though.
Ron Reynolds there’s a weird thing where it feels like on a lot of tracks the instruments don’t seem to hit as hard and they feel like they occupy a strange frequency space, probably because they self produced most of the album, and the fact mike uses cocked wah effects all over this record
I've been waiting for this song to hit iTunes, but they just won't do it. It's starting to get on my nerves actually. This would've been arguably the best song on the album.
