I wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating such an informative video about the Wonderland Restaurant. It was incredibly helpful, and I truly appreciate the time you took to explain how everything works and share your dining experience. After watching your video, I felt confident enough to book a reservation for our upcoming wedding anniversary, and I'm excited to share the experience with my kids. Although we've been on several cruises, this will be our first time dining at Wonderland, so we’re all looking forward to it! Thank you again for the valuable insight. Great review! I am a “lover” of Wonderland! My take: not all courses are for everyone, including me! You just might not know until you try. My server asked what I was interested in, and I was overwhelmed by the menu! He brought everything I *knew* I wanted, and “filled in” with his own recommendations. I enjoyed the majority, while some were over-the-top amazing. The experience itself is so entirely unique, which was also exciting and refreshing. Not a stuffy, boring, more uptight atmosphere as I feel some specialty dining options can be. Can’t wait to try it for a 2nd time!

I think were given an option to choose appetizers but let them choose. It was a nice experience. I should have asked for a left-handed fork.

I recently went again with two other cruisers. They told the restaurant that they didn’t eat seafood. Given that and me asking if I could pick them myself, they let us.

Great video! It was very informative. Thank you for sharing. My husband and I have a Wonderland reservation on HotS this summer. Neither of us eat raw seafood. Do you think they would allow us to choose an alternative dish?

Thank you. They are very good about accommodating requests. I just went with two other cruisers and they didn’t eat seafood at all. Our waitstaff still brought out as much food, just no seafood. Enjoy your cruise.

I agree. I just went there again and pushed the issue. I was able to order whatever I wanted. So it is possible.

Yes. Royal Caribbean is great with accommodating dietary needs at all their specialty dining restaurants. This restaurant is worth going to at least once just for the atmosphere. Currently, I have a love/hate relationship with Wonderland. The first time I went I loved it. The second time, not so much. This seems to be a common view with a lot of people I have talked with. As for what they might serve, I had several vegetarian items served to me right off the menu. Three come to mind, depending on the level of vegetarian, the deviled eggs (obviously out for vegans), there was also a deconstructed salad and a test tube thing with tomato juice. I’m not sure what they would serve for a main course. The menu is available on the web page when you click on Wonderland, as if you were going to make a reservation. It is also in the video and should be readable if paused. I hope all that helps. Enjoy your cruise!!!!

Only thing we picked was main course and desert it was our least favorite meal wife did not like on item

Thanks for letting us know. I’ll be going on a cruise in less than 2 weeks and I have Wonderland reservations. I’ll post once I’m back. I’m interested to see if the ship makes a difference. Also, if it is the same, I might try to force the issue and order something different, or at least try to order something else. The video was on Wonder and I’m going on Symphony next.

I hated it , thought that mushroom soup on the spoon was horrendous I honestly think Royal should replace it with something else

A lot of people I’ve talked with agree with you. You would think RC would change it to something that a higher percentage of people like. I enjoyed my first visit (the one in the video) but I didn’t really enjoy subsequent ones. I will probably continue to go and do another review after I’ve been several more times.

Just went there last month and it was a total disappointment. The meal is so pretentious with no substances. The food/presentation/narrative is long winded with no relation to what are being served. The worst thing is the bread stuck on the tomato water (terrible) and then it suddenly bursted spilling the water all over my face/body/suit. But the worst thing is that the server seemed oblivious to my predicament and had the audacity to come back later to ask me how's the tomato water. I told him he should ask my suit how does it taste. After I changed my suit and came back, I asked him if he would reimburse my laundry bill and he said he would do it himself, if not he will ask the chef to do it. The next day I filed a complaint to guess service and RC gave me a voucher to do my laundry, a champagne and some "food". Regardless of the poor service, the food isn't really great. The halibut was fishy and over cooked. All in all, I won't remember it to my worst enemy. Better spend your $70 elsewhere.

I completely agree about the tomato water, it was disgusting. When I recorded my review video, I actually enjoyed the food (except for the water), but when I went back a second time with friends, I didn't like anything. I am planning on redoing the review after I go back once more, just to make sure it wasn't just that one bad experience.
