Just a short ride on this machine as it arrived and, apart from the non standard and less restrictive exhaust already fitted, before any tuning work and swap over to carburettor fuelling commences.
I like these 535cc Royal Enfield's , sadly like rocking horse shirt down here in Australia , what a sweet bike and man does she sound awesome or what ? Thanks again Paul .
I'll be following this one with interest Paul. The fueling on my '17 Bullet is a bit ordinary and it feels very lean at low throttle settings. I see a lot of EFI to carb related videos for Enfields on RU-vid so it must be pretty common. For general riding, what are your thoughts on adding a fuel controller for the EFI, verses a carb conversion?
Is there much difference between the 500 & 535? Better or worse? Or is it just a marketing exercise? This one looks relatively newish with its efi & the switchgear & indicators it’s wearing.
I do love my wee GT535 but it definitely could be doing with a tadge more power even 15 or 20 more horses to make it safer to overtake. Can anyone recommend some mods, I have already put an exhaust and an air filter on her along with the lambda sensor delete kit and the MAF sensor with the temp sensor at the back seat ( That has made some difference to her she is so smooth now) but will a set of cams and the Bigger valves make a good amount more power or is it better to raise the compression.
