I replaced the head gasket, attended to an exhaust pipe blow at the cylinder head and raised the needle in the carb today, following yesterday's 'Before' test ride. It will soon be time for another test ride, to make comparisons!
Sounds good, no doubt you'll have the clutch settled to your satisfaction pretty soon and the owner will have a lovely bike. BTW, I occasionally use a chest-mounted, cheap camera with the terrible sound turned off but record sound during a ride using my phone, in my jacket pocket. It seems to pick up a lot of engine sounds that I don't normally hear, so you might not be the only one with that sound issue. Still enjoying your videos.
I lengthened and modified my clutch arm the clutch could do with coming closer to the casing in the meantime I also modified the clutch lever ratio the "design is ok , just the "application" suffers ,,,,,
Awful starter....mine starts 2nd kick every time... But I am a great believer in going to my appointed garage with factory trained highly motivated technicians... I love their cheap rates per hour, and wonderful workmanship... Yes mine starts well every 2nd time ... second hour that is... SHOULD HAVE GONE TO PAUL HENSHAW...THE GURU ..
