You did a good job of describing why we love this bike so much. There is something spiritual about riding this bike, it evokes a connection with the distant past. It transports you back to simpler times when life was fresh and exciting and innocent. You feel the gentle throb of the engine and hear the mellow note of the muffler, a gentle breeze in your face and the scents of the country side stimulate your memory. If this isn't heaven then it's the next thing to it!! Get yourself one!
Nifty 3thrifty Paddington is. Paddington is the unofficial name for brown 350Classic named by Allyearmotorcyclist. Great colour my favorite Paddington brown.
You asked why a 70 year old man would want this bike. Well, I'll be 77 in August, never ridden a bike yet I have a Halcyon Green sitting my garage, waiting on me to take my new rider course. I'm as excited as a 10 year old on Christmas eve. I've got my helmet, gloves, boots and pants; haven't decided on a jacket yet. MY bike has a windshield, sump guard, rear rack and crash bars. Actually, it's too pretty to ride!
Hey pops, I am 70 years old and I am in my 51st year of riding, I think that it is really cool that you are taking up motorcycling! Take the rider’s course, you will pick up some good pointers. Ride safe and enjoy your classic 350!😊
@@larrywhorley9440 I am really sorry to read your post. It is good that you know your physical limitations. I hope that you continue to enjoy your life and hope you the best!
Great as usual mate. Beautifully built bikes at any price and near zero Tupperware . For me speed and perfomance ( done that) comes second to looks & recapturing here in the UK the golden age of 60s biking when bikes had Soul and heart . People always show interest in these gorgeous looking little 350s. Red and Chrome was my choice . But as you say you have a kaleidoscope range to pick from Had a 2 month wait none in stock and that was a nation wide dealer with 10 branches. These are selling like hot cakes Removed the rear seat and pegs waiting for a chrome solo rack. Do my own servicing as I dont trust dealers. Won't say Wahoo But will say Whizzo my friend.😂 Lee
There is an ever growing, world wide love affair going on with the little Classic 350. I get more views of my rides on the Classic 350, than I do on my Interceptor 650, so I guess it is now more popular than the brilliant 650 twin. I can see you having one before long, as you have put so much thought into the style “you would have”. All the best.
Love that Interceptor, want to do a long ride on the 650 GT and...bought myself a Classic 350 a few days ago.... Motorcycling is an addiction we can live with. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles absolutely, and Royal Enfield’s have an reflect on your soul. When I first bought my 350, I questioned whether I had made a mistake. It didn’t take me long to realise what an absolute masterpiece it is. Enjoy your Classic 350, I wish you all the best.
The ECM is limited by the ABS brakes to 75 MPH. I have the Desert Signals version and I use mine on the freeway. It will cruse at 70 all day long (even done it two up). Best decision I have made was to buy it. The windscreen looks period correct on the machine and the canvas bags are great and also look correct on the bike. If you do buy the bike, and decide on the crash bar, get the black one.
She is a beautiful motorcycle. Baxter Cycle currently does not have the Desert Signals bike I want but have some coming. If I'm lucky I may get one. One great motorcycle. Wahoo!
Great video, gorgeous looker. How about a video getting your old mates and bikes together for a park up at your favourite bike Cafe or Pub and see where the public reaction goes. I've got 43,000, trouble free ,K's on my somewhat modded Conty, still gets lost of attention. Steve.
Great bike the 350Classic & in Paddington brown my favorite colour. Great second bike or if you're downsizing. Can't wait till the Classic 650 with straight pipes & Showa forks & premium fit & finish like the Super Meteor 650.Pity Southern hemisphere didn't get those new Interceptor/Gt with Alloys & 350 switchgear etc. It's a Wahoo motorcycle Fuzzy.
@@forgottenmotorcycles I think 🤔 they're European release only but you never know.Interceptor with Alloys & Meteor style switchgear nice. All they need is the Showa forks & fit & finish like the Super Meteor. A Classic 650 is on the cards in next couple of years.R.E saving Classic 650 till last cause they know it be a big seller & hopefully be the best yet it similar to Super Meteor with Showa forks & premium fit & finish. Mmmmm can't wait bring that on a Classic 650 Showa forks premium fit & finish Wahoo ×10.
I think the J Series engine was always intended for the Reborn Classic 350 but because of the huge following for the Bullet, Royal Enfield wanted to make sure they got the styling spot on and took their time to get it right. In the meantime they gave us the Meteor?
