I blame ‪@thebingleywheeler‬, I watched his video on this Aoocci car play and thought it would never work on the Royal Enfield Classic and that it would shake to death and be useless. But I could see some really great features that would be useful for me on my Autumn and winter commute. So I took the plunge. As you know I don’t usually do this sort of thing but I love it and got in touch with Aoocci to see if I could get a discount code. The most they could offer is 22% as this is the same offered to others. Still, I think it is cheap at around £150.

‪@thebingleywheeler‬ does an excellent video on fitting but it is pretty straight forward (depending on your bike) and I believe TBW’s discount is the same.

I purchased this unit after Bingley's review and have to say I am very pleased with the device. It's installed on my Moto Guzzi V7 Special. I know it's not for everyone but that's OK, I do love the techy stuff lol. I actually did a test drive on a new SUV last week that had a 48" screen across the whole dash (my wife was looking at me like I'm from another planet). I like the TPMS system and the cameras are great. As you stated it's nice to be able to keep your expensive mobile device protected in bad weather (I'm a Waze fan as well) so always have that running. Great video...thanks for sharing Cheers Kevin

That's a reasonably priced bit of kit considering all of its functions and certainly worth having especially on a bike like Bertie with no TFT equivalent.

Looks like a feature rich product Mr TAYM. The shop is wiring and mounting my Garmin Montana 700i with all the other work they're doing. Got an update call yesterday that they are waiting on one part for the BarkBusters, that I supplied them with. I had ordered BarkBusters for the T7 but I had them mount ProTaper bars since I was having the heated grips installed, figured, why not have them handle all of that at one time instead of going back later. Yeah, I could have installed the BarkBusters, but it was a good thing I had them do it or I'd have been a bit out of sorts figuring why they didn't fit on the new bars. 🤣 Have a great weekend Mr TAYM and the TAYMites! I'll be off for my gal's birthday and a funeral next week. Everything always hits at once it seems.

I have to say a very impressive unit especially if you consider two cameras as well all for £169, makes the Beeline very expensive by comparison. However one of the things I have loved about my Classic 350 has been using a Beeline when I need navigation, so nice not to have a big satnav screen staring at me ! 😊

Technology! That is quite an upgrade for Bertie 👍👍and I bet that he is impressed 😁😁. It does a lot more than my Beeline and I can see how useful it is. The price is pretty good too.

@TAYM I've recently bought a Beeline Moto 2 for Brian my RE 350, It is a vast improvement on the original except for battery life. The great thing is it's really unobtrusive.

Very clever tech ... but is it big enough ? 🤣😂🤣🤣... To be serious that seems a perfect size for a motorcycle unlike the one I saw advertised which was truly humungous ... I would imagine the eventual ideal set-up would be separate handlebar mounted controls ( something like the jog-wheel on BMW's, or a joystick? ) so that it could be controlled on the move without having to remove the hand from the bars to operate the touch screen although that might be difficult to accomplish as a universal retrofit .... Perhaps voice control might be another possibility? Maybe in future as these progress we will see something along those lines ? Love the Supertramp reference BTW 😊 .. Crime of the Century is one of the best albums from that time.

I think the latest version comes with a remote which fastens to the bars. If you have a head set you can use the voice control on your phone 😁 thanks David 😁

It would be even better if it had a digital tachometer. Bolt on tacho for Bullet are bulky and expensive, I've found. All in one digital dash with trips and fuel would be a welcome upgrade for the old Bullets. A chrome or leather skin to make it discreet, quite cyberpunk.

Not for me. Happy for all the people who enjoy it though. Personally, i don't even use a SatNav on my bike - i prefer to check on the map where i want to go, and then simply try to find the place.

Hey Mr Taym, interesting video 😀 Guess what I'm up to? I'm riding my Super Meteor 650 from the bottom of Tasmania to the top of Queensland, that's crossing four states and about 5,000km (or 3,000 miles). I'm having a great time and the bike has been superb 😀😎🚲 I'll send you a couple of photos and I'll do some filming and post it somewhere 🤣 Then I'll turn around and ride back. The trip back should be easier as it's all down hill 😂 Sorry I haven't said hi for a while, been a bit distracted. Interesting one TAYM I got mine just to use as a satnav , haven't fitted it yet. One question though is do you have audio on yours? to hear turn by turn instruction as I think I would prefer that mainly so I am not distracted looking at the screen and not what's going on around me , also did you get an SD card to record onto should you wish to upload to a laptop or the like ? . I got mine via Bingley's code and he does have a good instruction vid on it which I shall use .👌👍

You need to connect your phone to it and if you have a headset it will work through that. I guess you could connect a Bluetooth speaker too if you could fasten one to the bike😁 no, you need to buy a sd card but they are not expensive 😁

@daintree2455 I'm 50 in several months but after braking back & twisting spine when 18 am a arthritic saw back bugger now.Only manage about 90mins max in saddle but like to stop every hour as they reckon it's best to stop before aches & pain start cause once they start they get worse.

Morning taym interesting I bought the carpuride through the bankrupt pensioner and the bingley wheeler doing the review but not fitted it yet as not got round to riding bike lately then I watched a video of crazylegs and he’s had trouble with his so now I am unsure wether to buy the aoocci but I’ll see how you get on take care bye for now

Sorry, Loki, I didn’t explain it well. If you have a SD card in it, you can record your journey. I think it goes on a loop but if you push the lock button, I think it saves a fixed period🤔 something like that.🤔 I will play with it more and let you know😁

I most certainly have 😂😂 as you might imagine😂 I have had no problem with it’s operation in rain or hailstones 😂 they say it is IP67 so as long as you don’t go over a metre deep you should be ok 😁 I am most interested to see what happens when it gets really cold, like -1 degrees at 50mph 🤔 thanks Dave😁
