Both Ather and OLA was, is and will be crucial for Indian EV ecosystem. Ather showed Indians how an electric vehicle can be thrilling, high performance and high quality and started the EV supply chain in India, while OLA disrupted the legacy 2 wheeler companies, by bringing the scale and vertical integration in India, that we have only seen with Tesla and the Chinese OEMs, OLA's ambitious scale pushed even Ather to scale up both their manufacturing and their presence in India, while Ather's software driven architecture and smart features pushed OLA to incorporate the same. And due to their competition, the legacy autos like Bajaj, TVS and Hero were forced to make good scooters too...In the end, we consumers were the biggest beneficiary of this.

Haa, abhi har jagah fast chargers hai bhi nahi toh long drive wale log Hybrids hi prefer karenge. Abhi EVs mei bahot saara R&D scope bacha hua h jaise ki longer range, faster charging, longer battery life, ease of battery recycling, etc... log wait karenge jab tak EVs perfect nahi ban jaati
7:50 Tesla has introduced an Almunium battery which lasts for 25 years or 10,000 charging cycles and it charges in 15 mins. 15% extra range than Lithium battery. Geely battery hogi toh aag kaise lagegi 😅😅😅 Hybrid ka koi matlab nahi 2X cost hone karan koi nahi lega. Hybrid pe tax lagao taki jaldi se EV shift ho.
Long-run me to ola better perform karegi unki line up bhi zada hai aur upcoming years me apni ghud ki 4680 battery bhi la Rahe hai aur service centre ka jo issue hai to upcoming years me Jada service centre khol ke solve ho jayega
Ola has the potential to become like tesla and make the best scooter,bikes and cars . But bhavesh should find the loop holes were he is lagging like service .
Hello Tarun. As u r towards ev products so u might differ with my opinion. If we buy rizta for a better quality product we might end up paying 1.8L. If we buy activa 110cc it costs around 80k. We are paying a lakh more for ather. Lets be calculative If a person is spending 800 per week on fuel he will be spending for 3 years on fuel then he will be at par with cost of rizta. Resale value of rizta 0. And activa will still give 40k after 3 years of usage. Where are we saving money here in ev?. S1x + or even any product of OLA is a shit product till their issues are not resolved permanently. Tvs iqube still using hub motor and they are also lacking service issues. Chetak and vida are better products but battery cost and resale of any ev stands nowhere. So no one is saving money here. Its mere gimmick. Only companies like gogoro will be successful here who will be providing vehicle at cheaper price with swappable batteries. So that customer must pay lesser price of product and battery at lease.
plug in hybrids aur laane chahiye market me prius prime jaise jo day to day use ke liye electric ho and long distance ke liye petrol. isse emmissions bhi kam aur charging infra improve karne me bhi extra time milega
i would say ather hero ke sath merge ho jana chahiye jese maruti suzuki ne kiya tha ase hi ather ka supply chain and marketing cost minimise ho sakta hai aur ather ka sell bhi grow hoga😅
