The front brakes has not a good initial bite and feels in general quite week. One have to use a lot force on the lever to brake hard. So I use rear brake in addition sometimes, the rear brakes are very good (or feels like because of the front brakes). Another thing is that the front ABS is a bit too intrusive for my liking. But as I know about it I adopt my drive style to it. Riding a Himalayan is no race anyways :-) It invites to a calm lazy ride (which I sometimes like a lot).
