Himalayan for me, superior on almost all counts, even the looks, fabulous. I am expecting it to be priced cheaper, also.

@@montychauhan9954 Yeah your right, the purpose is different. Since I am in mid 30s now. Scram suits me now. But the service aspect of RE is very bad compared to Triumph/Bajaj. My elder bro once a triumph rocket 3r and I can vouch that the service experience is a gem at triumph.

Can't say I'm interested in specs what interests me is fit and finish, and here the Enfield wins hands down. To me the Triumph is built down to a price point whereas the Enfield is built up to a quality.

Scrambler vs Adventure bike.... Are they really to compare...?. Well, Himalayan is more versatile, that’s a fact. The X400 is more stylish, that’s my opinion 😉
@myselfyuvi
@myselfyuvi 9 месяцев назад
In fact it's the Scrambler which is more versatile. Nimble in City, Can do cornering and can do off roading as well. On the contrary Himalayan is a propose specific bike which is built for offroading! If you ride it anywhere else I guess it'll leave you wanting for more!
@THUGPUTIN

@@myselfyuvi that's what scramblers are, jack of all trades master of none.... But, RE himalayan is offroad rally bike purpose built for dakar rally... It will also be India's first indigenously built engine to enter Dakar as hero outsourced the engine for dakar rallies... It's like r15, ktm RC vs karizma/gixxer sf... R15/RC is no nonsense sport bike while gixxer and karizma tries to please everyone.. Purpose built bike will always win over wannabe bikes.. Triumph should launch tiger 400 to compete with himalayan...

Not really a fair comparison. The Triumph is a road bike with off-road pretentions and the Himalayan is an off-road bike with on-road pretentions. They serve two different functions. Having said that the video was done nicely 😊

Tough decision, i don't know why but I just think that the himy will be a simpler machine! Lot's of hidden sensors and crap on the triumph! I have the original bs4 himalayan for 5 years now and it's simple, i service it myself and do all the work myself, i enjoy it. The after sales of re is really good here in the UK, no doubt triumph is too but i just don't need them once warranty has gone. My friends gs has to go into the garage for a service, is triumph the same? I want to service my bike myself on my driveway and royal enfield allows me to do that very cheaply too...... For me it's the enfield, cheaper and just as reliable in my opinion, go absolutely anywhere on my trips and a 21in front wheel for our uk pot holed roads...... Just my opinion. And don't forget the triumph has 37nm of torque at 6500rpm and the enfield has 40nm at just 5000rpm so the power will always be right there! Oh ps the triumph does look sweet and my dream bike is a bonny t120 😂

@ankurhazra2445 9 месяцев назад
@@shahadsorwar3843 Yes, the Triumph is a more versatile bike. It can be used on the road and for mild off-roading. Cruising in highways is also easy going on the Triumph. The Himalayan is a adventure segment motorcycle. Primarily meant for Off-roading n little on road rides. Less versatility but stronger performance in drastic situations. Depends on ur needs and taste. Choose accordingly.

Though on paper both looks on par. I would prefer Triumph any day because of the after sales issues you get on a RE, constant wear and tare of parts, as well as a crappy service experience of RE. I had aRE for 14 years and sold it and now switching to scrambler 400x.

The Himalayan makes +.07PS over the Tiger 400 & not +0.70PS. So almost no difference and a bit of an error on your part! The Triumph is also £28 per annum cheaper for VFL in the UK, as it's under 400cc.

@aakashsandhu2165 9 месяцев назад
Triumph has the expertise in making SCRAMBLER motorcycles. I have ridden the 400x and let me tell you it's definitely not a sheep if not a wolf.. Yes it may not be a full blown off reader like the new Himalayan with 200mm suspension travel and 230mm Ground clearance but it surely does everything with ease, cornering, going through City traffic,dealing with Rough/Bad roads, the suspension have a sense of DUALITY, the absorb and provide utmost cushion in bad conditions but don't get spongy when going hard in the corners😊 And I guess Scrambling means doing everything possible on a motorcycle. Very capable!
