Good trilogy of videos, I don't know why the first 2 didn't come up in my feed but found and like them. I am installing the YSS fork emulators at the weekend, so this helps 👍
I just recently gotten a brass crankcase cover from Graham and it looks awesome. I put the YSS kit upfront in my Interceptor and it makes it much much better with ten weight oil. Cheers
Good work isn't it. He puts a lot of love into the parts and really knows his stuff. Its my back ones now that need work, the front shows up the rear but I really like the look of the standard shocks. I'm sure the YSS kits are awesome, we've got the YSS shocks on my wife's bike. Quality items.
@@DormanDiaries he does make some nice parts thinking of getting a oil filler cap in brass . I just changed my rear shocks to YSS as well to even out the bike. I go the black one’s without the external oil reservoir I think it looks more classic looking and two hundred cheaper.I put a picture on Graham’s Facebook page just now. Keep it up the good work on the channel. Cheers mate 👍🏻
@@DormanDiaries so basically it's like slime for mountainbikes , you remove your valve core and pump half the bottle into your tube and replace core and inflate any small punctures it seals , you probably lose a couple of psi but it gets you home to re inflate or I carry 2/3 co2 cannisters and a co2 pump in my tool kit !
@@themoog3889 cool, might give it whirl. Ive only put a normal duty tube back in as all i had at the time but got a heavy duty one to go in next time. Never used the slime in an mtb tube either, doesn’t it have a use by date like the stuff you out in tubeless mtb tyres?
Hi Mate, Yep - rebrassbling@gmail.com I also recommend the preload spacers unless you've done those already. He has had lots of positive feedback on those. See vid below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FBaGwNB9KNs.html
For emegency type repair, I'm looking at a string and glue puncture repair kit, somthing like the Tyre Doctor Tyre Puncture Repair Kit on Amazon, and a Mi Portable Electric Air Compressor or similar.
@@soulrebelno1 what do you need string and glue for? No air will escape if you put new tube in. You dont need to repair tubeless tyre if there is a tube init.
The strings work well in tubeless Ive used them in 4x4 tyres and moto tyres. But yes no good if you’re running tubes. Would have to convert the rims to tubeless which is pricey for a reliable kit. I’ve got my tyre change down now so will probably just carry my levers and a tube etc for longer trips. PITA to do on the road but hey ho.
