Itchy boots is currently riding a pre-production version of the new Himalayan. It appears to be quite an upgrade. Of course, I’m sure the price will be much higher as well.
Do you happen to know if the windscreen on this Scram is the standard Himalayan? I can’t see my to find one made for this bike anywhere. This is the 1st one I have come across that lions like it’s made for the scram.
The Scram and the Standard Himalayan don't use the same windshield. Aftermarket has been slow to produce windshield options for the Scram 411. Do think that Givi does has some now. Check Baxtercycle.com Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles Thank you for taking the time to respond. Baxter doesn’t have anything listed under the Scram 411 for windshields, but it might be worth a call.
Any tachometer mod you are aware of for these? Im torn between the Hemilain and the Scram but really want the tach from the Hemilain on the Scram instead of the navigation thing. Any thoughts or are you aware of someone who may have done this? Awesome video, I'm a new sub to the channel.
Welcome! Have not seen any tach mods for the Scram but we've wondered if we can put the Tach for the Classic 350 in the space for the Nav unit. should be about the same size. Contact Jeremy at Baxtercycle.com if interested in trying. PS Choosing between the Standard Himalayan and the Scram is like pick a favorite child...hard. Wahoo!
@@forgottenmotorcycles Thank you very much for the quick reply. That is exactly what I was hoping to hear, I think I'm going to give it a try after I get one of these bikes. I will be in touch.
@@kristianjaeger4083 Well wahoo! Thanks, Looks like the top of the horn kinda of tucked up under the the fuel tank. Interesting, I've taken the tank side covers off of mine and haven't found a good relocation spot for it. I'll look close at mine to see where it might be attached.
What a looker, Fuzzy! He removed the mellow yellow thingamajiggies. Looks smooth with the little windshield. I saw another contender today on the tube, and it was a Binelli imperial 400. I would personally stay away from the new models for a year or two. Did Royal Enfield have bugs to work out with the Himalayan and then the scram? Ride Safe!
