#S01E02 - Concerned rider (The royal enfield rider who is concerned about his choices)
So Which royal enfield new model to buy in 2018? My approach is to go through a couple of questions people always have when buying a motorcycle and then link them to buying decisions.
The questions we will discuss in this video are:
Q1: Which #royalenfield has better speed?
Q2: Which royal enfield is not heavy and good for girls ?
Q3: Which royal enfield is best for short people?
Q4: Which royalenfield requires less maintenance?
There are different aspects you need to understand before buying royal enfield motorcycles; as every bike is unique and build for a different purpose.
Why do people buy a royal enfield is something that requires a lot of debate but which one should you buy is simple. If you want to know the best royal enfield model in 2017, yes we will discuss that as well. Since there were many questions on Royal enfield I thought of making three videos and addressing them completely. This is the part 2 of the video series.
Royal enfield has recently launched royal enfield interceptor 650 & royal enfield continental gt 650 motorcycles, let's see where they fall.

This is a good video Abhi, visit the first part I have given you comment about the length of the video. The questions were really relevant and this is something every royal enfield fan might have. Most of them purchase royal enfield due to the fascination of the bike and since they see people rushing like don's but the real issues starts to come when they actually purchase it. Like loving someone and then marrying them. LOL!

Bhaiya can I use continental GT for long rides or should I buy himalayan. Is himalayan as powerful and good as continental gt.

Can use for long rides but with slight modifications. Himalayan is not as powerful as continental GT; for that matter no bike other than the 650 series is powerful than continental GT. Some may say classic is powerful but I doubt. I have ridden both and I feel continental GT still beats all.

Mostly city riding...Bt...Jis city me m rahta hu...Wo city....Ufff...Jyadatar road off road jise he h.....nd traffic condition is horrible....Ap log laddakh ja kar off roading ka maza lete ho...M apni city ke andar he ...Ye mere 2nd bike hogi I hv already Yamaha SZR...Iske baad koyi bhe two wheeler nhi lene h......So seriously suggest me ...I m waiting ur valuable suggestions...Thanx

Royal enfield thunderbird is a proven model, at least worth purchasing for comfortable journeys. Himalayan often comes across issues. I do not mean that the new Fi version too has issues, "but may have". Himalayan is better for off-roading with its design and has less vibrations than thunderbird. For your height both the motorcycles are fine. Do take a test ride before you finalize. Off-roading is not about bad roads, it is about a path where there is no evenness and no tar roads, the path is uneven, sand, stones, mud etc.

it will be a bit difficult for you to ride it, your feet may not touch the ground firmly. Do test ride it to understand.

it is more aggressive than old Thunderbird so do test it before you buy.

yes, but you may at times feel moving the motorcycle backwards an issue. Do try test riding it.

I have ridden continental GT that way, it is not uncomfortable. you will get used to it when you ride for some time. The vibrations are reduced to a greater extent. Also thats the way cafe racers should be ridden, I think #royalenfield wanted to keep indian users and traffic in mind when they made those clipons go higher.
