True That. I think in this day and age , such diy videos are a necessity for riders so that we needn't depend on the service centre's entirely. Also in case of emergency this would be handy. Kudos to Royal Enfield❤️
Yeah it reduces the weight of the Continental GT 650 to 198 kg versus 202kg of the Interceptor. Tank is 12.5 litre on Continental Versus 13.7 On The Interceptor.
You need to get the mandatory service done from the service centre in order to avoid loss of warranty. But you can tinker things yourself . Avoid cutting of any standard electrical wires. This may result in loss of warranty as well
Roshan Sridhar ha, ha that is so funny! Need to to remind RE that they either leave the music industry or change their creative editor😂🤣 By the way, love your videos👍🏍💨💨
Dear Rohan, What notice is your front wheel does not have stick disc plate which company provides. RE provides floating disc plate, which makes annoying sound while riding. Have you done this to solve this issue, if yes can u please help me with the details of plate you have put and how is the performance of it. Is there any issue or it is 100% good to go. It will be great help.
Oh I am talking about the bike shown in the video. If see closely the disc plate in the bike shown in video is not a floating disc plate. I had been to service center and they also accepted the fact that, bec of floating disc plate there is a play and that makes sound on bad roads. Sometimes people think it is bec of handle bar cone set or tire, but in this case it is bec of floating disc plates
You can check yourself, have look of front wheel disc plate carefully and see your bikes disc plate, you will see buttons and that is what is floating disc
Might be electrical connection issue....like the connection to neutral light would be broken....or the neutral light bulb would not be working... fused. Please check both these and fix
Hehe i too am waiting for it eagerly ❤️ Don't think there will be any news till the next eicma . Currently they are upgrading their exsisting engines to BS6.. Maybe in 2021 They will launch.
Bro there is already 100's of video on classic for maintenance.. and classic 350 is pretty basic. Tyre removal, chain maintenance , seat removal are i think the only things u can diy on the classic. I have already done seat removal , chain lube on my RU-vid channel. Pls see it. Let me know what else do you want
Suspension Maintenance can be done by service people.....DIY is not available. You can just Adjust Your Rear Suspensions. That too it's advisable to do it from the service center...
My speedometer has issues. When I accelerate the reading drops to 0 and wavers when stop acceleration. This happens sometimes and sometimes it works fine. The RE customer care says "its all right when we see it" and says I should record a video of it for them to repair it.... Should I fucking buy a gopro to report an issue? Please suggest me what to do😕
Can you try another dealer's service center Usually people at RE are prompt in replying and do a checkup themselves to find out the issue. Not sure why they told u like that. Maybe can you call up the Royal Enfield Customer Care number and raise a formal Enquiry on your issue and let them know what the dealer said to you... They can surely help you. When my bike got delayed for delivery, i spoke to the customer care and got it resolved. My issue went up till the delivery vice president n he himself spoke on the phone with me and resolved it. So you can surely try these two options...another dealer or the customer care.
Dave continental is sold without center stand worldwide so that you get more ground clearance while cornering, you can puchase one as an accessory from RE, i think it costs 120pounds or you can buy the paddock stand for maintenance.
Hi bro, this video officially uploaded in royal Enfield channel right? using the same in your channel may the copyright issue. :) such cases youtube will block your channel, just informs you :)
Yeah i know dude. 😂 I jus wanted to share information with everyone. They will just block the video if they want to. Thanks for letting me know anyway....Cheers😊
@@RoshanSridhar Bro it's not just blocking the video will block ur channel itself if they compliant to youtube, such incident happened to one of my frd :) anyway cheers :)
@@M.D.M911 I generally dnt put out others video on my Channel, but thought this would help everyone who is a retwin owner. Glad RE came up with such a clean Video
Well officially by April 1 , all Motorcycle manufacturers are required to upgrade the engines to bs6. Till now Royal Enfield has not unveiled even one upgraded motorcycle. I am sure max within a couple of months all the motorcylces will be upgraded. Feb end max u can expect the updated ones
@@AnalogueInTheUK it's the latest engine norms for two wheelers in India. Has refined emission levels. It's equivalent to Euro 6 for the European Countries.
Center stand is available for GT 650, but as an additional accessory. You won't get it on the standard package. You have to buy it. It's not given by default to ensure better cornering abilities. You can buy a paddock stand also seperately.
You don't get a centre stand on GT right out of the factory. You can add on one later as an additional accessory. This is to enhance the riding experience. You can also go for paddock stand if you want it for maintenance
If you are in the middle of nowhere alone and have a flat on the front tire you have no choice but to lay your bike down in the gravel to get the front wheel off ... all because Royal Enfield is too STUPID to offer alloy wheels for the 650s so you can run tubeless tires and fix a puncture in 5 minutes.
I never said I did this. I posted this to help.other riders as this was not on the net when I uploaded it. In the title it clearly says official video. You could see that in all my comments as well. But thank you😊 cheers
Haha, these are just tips for helping yourself on the go, if ever your bike gets punctured on a trip or if electric connection is busted. Needn't wait for the Road Side Assistance to come and help. Also this ensures in maintenance of the bike, as the service interval is 10,000 km . This video would be useful in regular maintenance
