What an absolutely awesome video thanks for taking the time to share :) all. Absolutely awesome. I wish they would bring a variant of the KX out would be so different compared to what’s on the market and another long stroke Himalayan :)

Loved the New England Maine Lobster concept! The flying flea in its cage intact is quite the package. I wonder how many were dropped into someones crop field and rolled into the barn. That kX vtwin is a show stopper. Sid and Dean have been thinking outside the box since the Himalayan gained interest in 2015. Im not a party crasher but I would love to see this Kx twin compete with Harley Davidson Dean.

Great video! As a proud owner of a Meteor 350, it is obvious that he Meteor 350 and the J-platform was a very important motorcycle for Royal Enfield.

I think the older Royal Enfields have what's known as "Integral Sump" and are not strictly speaking "Wet Sump" . . . The design simply combines the oil tank with the engine, oil from this cast in tank circulates in the same way and is effectively a "Dry Sump" system . . .

@vonryanexpress Yes, you're correct. The integral oil tank moved behind the engine later on. Both dry sump and circulated by a pump.

RE engines back then were works of art. The singles were much more sophisticated than other singles of the time and the 500 Twin is one of the prettiest engines ever made, not to mention their adoption of swinging-arm when most were stuck on tele-rigids. Compared to the other British Marques of the time, RE was under appreciated for their mechanical competence and beautiful engine design.

Kx is beautiful and unique than anything available at this point, RE should focus more on developing better engines than just releasing similar bike every month. Would love to see that KX into production.
