Get a feel for Royal Holloway's campus, with me as your guide! I show you the main buildings on campus as well as the more secluded spots!
Sorry it's a bit long, tried to shorten it as much as possible but wanted to really allow you to get a sense of what the campus is like. Also excuse the slightly shaky camera movements, I'm still rather new to filming!
Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to like - I spent a long time on this one!

I graduated from here in 1970; during my first year I had one of the corner turret rooms on the fourth floor in Founders. It was incredibly cold with five windows. We used to have to heat the room with a gas meter that ate shillings like they were pennies. I enjoyed seeing the changes and also some of the more familiar sights.

(I'm 3 years late to this video but that's ok) I just got back from Royal Holloway and this video brought me back there! You could've shown Jane Holloway's or maybe a part of student accommodation? (I personally was in Runnymede) Ugh Royal Holloway is so big and so beautiful!

Hey, this video was really great! I just wanted to ask if the psychology course is the right course for me as I want to be a clinical psychologist or something to do with councelling. I know this is a bit early as I am just about to start 6th form but I am really determined and excited to work in that department. I just thought that you would be asble to give the best advice since you study psychology. Thank you :) ^^

I'm starting at RHUL this September to study Music and I really can't wait!! :) I was just wondering, which hall did you live in in your first year? I'm trying to choose and I'm finding it really difficult to decide! Thank you, and great video! :)

+Isabelle Palmer Hi Isabelle, congratulations on choosing RHUL and I hope you have a lovely time! I lived in Wedderburn & Gowar and absolutely loved it. Layout/features wise they are exactly the same as Williamson, Tuke and Butler. But I would say that Wedderburn and Gowar are a little quieter as they are tucked away at the edge of campus (but still only a 5-7 min walk from lectures etc), whereas Williamson, tuke and butler are right in the centre and I would say are a bit livelier/more of a party kind of halls. Obviously within each flat you're going to have quieter and noisier people and it's going to vary a lot, but I would say that Wedderburn and Gowar have the perception of being quieter at least. Perhaps because one of the blocks there is for postgrad students and one is specifically for international students. All of these halls are more expensive though and are self-catered so it depends on your budget and whether you want catered or not - let me know if you have any further questions :) Hope that helps!
