@Bluebirdy I agree but i have RK 987 brown switches and it doesnt sound as bad as in this video. Something is really wrong or different with those switches because mine is not as pingy. I'll upload a sound test so you can hear
@Azylerix I got brown for typing (not gaming) but found them a bit tough. I type a bit aggressively and after a while my fingers hurt😅 I think if I knew how to oil the keys that the problem would be solved. However, I decided to get the red keys next. I prefer them. Also, I HIGHLY recommend using banggood instead of Amazon. They are cheaper there and I got the keyboards in about 2 weeks to the US. Noteably, both the keyboards connect ✨perfectly✨ to my windows PC but keep disconnecting from by iPad Pro 2018. I’m not sure if this is a problem with my iPad or the keyboards. On a good note, the rgb is beautiful!
You guys are from "1-3 yrs ago" and I'm here newbie on this still torn between THIS and AULA F75 ugh!!!! Love this edit and content though!!! So soothing ❤
Yo this channel is underrated just SUBBED🔥 Can’t wait for my RK61to come in I also got the brown switches and this video really made me more hyped about it 🔥
@@maxb9620 you could also go on the custom route. Get a gk61xs or gk61x and put some nk creams on there or some black inks or whatever switch you want. The board costs like 50-70$ and the switches are a bit pricey depending on what you get. The creams are in stock I assume.
The level of quality of your content is amazing.Subbed! I have a question for you if you don't mind.I have the exact keyboard with red switches. But it is still too loud for my taste.Do you think o-rings can help about that issue? There is a conflict about them on internet. Thank you.
Damn if this is how loud the browns are imagine the blues 😳 😂 Update: this keybaord sounds and feels amazing with the brown switches u got it today and it definitely exceeded my expectations for 50 bucks its a really good buy 👌
@Georgitzu no problem! I recommend getting brown switches if you're getting the rk61...it's all up to preference but I've had blue switches for around 3 months now and im already going to swap them out
@@gcg8187 yea cherry mx blues are solid switches I'll say that...Im still using them so I also think they're a good switch its just that I kinda like the more quite switches and the feedback they give
I just recently bought RK987 Brown switch and it sounds and almost feels like red switch compared to the sound with the brown switch in this video. Maybe it was lubed.
omg this editing is amazing. i want to eat this video LMAO i cant stop watching it AHH u deserve wayyyy more subscribers for this high quality content 😫☝️
@@ihavenoideahelp5239 bad thing about banggood is you dont know the stock until you buy. Mine comes from china to Spain, my country, and is shipped on april 2 so from then ill have to wait 10-15 days, but i hope it is worthy. I want the kb to play and write so i choosed the gatheron brown ones.
@@nyeisthescience Alright well uts for my birthday which is in September so I'm not actually gonna have it tomorrow but it's getting here tomorrow but I'm very excited for it
Okay so, there are 3 types of switches, linear, clicky, and tactile, linears are the most silent of them all, they are smooth and doesn't make a sound an example of this type are red and black switches, while clicky switches makes alot of sound like *click* *click*, the most common clicky switches are blue and green ones, while tactile switches have a smooth feedback and a buttery sound which sounds really good in my opinion, brown and yellow switches are known for their smooth feedback and buttery sound, tactiles are mostly used by speed typists, hope you understand and have a good day
Soybean man thank you so much for explaining, appreciate it! my Keychron K3 with blue switch just arrived yesterday. still trying to figure out how it works 😂
I love this keyboard and finally got it. In love but one thing that kind of bugs me is that the usb-c hole is on the back left, not the back middle. Why?
Waiting for mine to arrive, sadly its not hotswappable or rgb, only a single color. But tbh, I could care less. Just want to experience the true thonk when I get a chance to mod it.
I bought an rk61 keyboard with brown switches, but i have notices that the switches are really inconsistent. My a key and my g key feel like linears but every key else feel normal.
Brown is basically like blue ones but lil bit quiter and its lighter to press and yeah have a tactile sound because its tactile but idk havent tried brown yet but if you wanna find the diff i recc you to buy a switch tester and buy three of em which is outemu red, brown n blue
