SA80 is still in use they just pick the best suited weapon for the given operation

sa80 is the more standard weapon used by the regiments they still use them but they arent the best for all the situations that the royal marine commandos do, your bog standard regiment still uses them

It's not a secret, they started moving over to the C8 a while ago as part of the future commando program, 43 commando have been using the C8 for years.

Boris is the only PM to put money into the British forces for Decades. With his increased spending we are now spending more than Russia, which makes us number three in the world. Boris has modernised the British forces so that the equipment is the most up to date anywhere, the Royal navy is the largest European navy, and the most modern, whilst the Challenger is getting complete upgrades, which Labour would all turn around and squander that money on unecessary ideas that all fail. The RAF has the most modern aircraft fleet in the world, and the Army is getting the most modern equipment, what more exactly could anyone else do?

They're not training in the Ukraine: they, and other branches of our military, are training Ukrainian personnel here in the UK. The armbands are just identifiers in the training exercises. And it's no secret that our forces are training to engage Russia... The new Army Chief of General Staff here has been on the news all week saying just that very thing... 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Royal Marines are switching over to the L119A2/2's due to their new kit upgrade. A3 is still a good weapon though, but the new rifle they are getting makes complete sense for the new operations they'll be undertaking.
