Knowing the eyes of the world are on you, why did Fergie engage in this kind of behavior. What made it worse was having the children with you. If she had used her head she would have kept a low profile until the interest in her and Andrew's separation had died down. With what was going on with Diana and Charles it wouldn't have been long. This girl should have learned something about being in the Royal family, how to try and cater to them just to make life easier for her and her daughters. Some might say that would be sucking up to this weird family but bowing to them now would insure that she would be around in the future when the Queen and Prince Phillip would be gone and that generation would be in the driver's seat and they could bring the monarchy into the 21st century with no interference from the old guard or as Diana called them "heavy furniture". It is done before Diana's death so she is not yet viewed as a Saint and it touches on many different aspects of being a member of the Royal family. But in the end, no one will be able to have a character more firm and self less than our current Queen Elizabeth. Who was not born to be the Queen but still vowed and sacrificed her entire life to do it. What kind of world would we live in if we spent our whole lives thinking of others before ourselves?!.
