Same. At first I braced myself, thinking I'd have to sit through another robot-narrated thing, and there's this intelligent, lovely (Scots?) Accented voice. It was quite good. Will subscribe. I thought the info in the queen's opinion of who gets what was very interesting. That tiara is so much the queen's tiara, in terms of grand it is and where it gets worn. Why she would lifetime lend it to someone else I don't know, she'd have to really like the person.

MORE BLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!! hard to pick one but I really did like the one the Queen would not let MM wear (sorry but I am SO not her fan). It is an absolutely stunning piece and I love how the stones could be changed from diamonds to emeralds. LOVING these videos but then I love all of your videos.

BadassUnicorn that blatant lie by that 🖥 generated voice accusing Meghan of wanting that ugly to big of a tiara for her beautiful 😍 does not make sense. By the way just like the narrator allegations about Meghan and the tiara, is the allegation not in the public domain that Queen Mary cheated some deposed female Russian Royal family of that tiara. Why not investigate and find out how it came into the hands of the British Royal family, certainly that story would be much more intriguing!!!!!

@@glenroyreid2509 I do know all about how Queen Mary screwed the Russian Royal family out of their jewelry but I wasn’t planning on writing an essay on someone else’s channel. Mary was also a known kleptomaniac who would take things she liked from homes, hotels, etc. Do your own research.

I hope now that she is Princess of Wales Catherine will finally be seen wearing a tiara overseas. She's never worn one outside of Buckingham Palace. Also Camilla can now wear the Delhi Durbar tiara with the Cullinan lll and IV chips as Queen Mary wore it.

My favorite is the Queen Mary Fringe Tiara. I just seem to really love that style (the fringe) for tiaras. Also the fact that you can also use it as a necklace makes it even better!

There is the City of London fringe necklace which was given to Queen Elizabeth 2 on her wedding day and converts to a tiara. Also there is a second fringe tiara that converts to a necklace which dates back to Queen Victoria and is almost identical to Queen Mary's. They are all featured in The Queen's Diamonds. A great coffee table book with lots of pictures and stories about the jewels.

Q. Mary's lover's knot tiara, Cartier Halo tiara (though it is so small on Catherine Cambridge's head & the bigger ones look so good on her), the girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, the Swedish Cameo tiara--it is odd & I don't like Napoleon but it's a very stately one, the tiara Desiree... All of them, lol. Keep up the good work, this is so well done.

I had no idea that these were so interchangeable. 1 into a ring, others into broaches and some necklaces. Ingenious! I would wear any one of them proudly, except the goat. That's kind of creepy. lol

I've read that Royal Life can be completely stifling...In fact, you have no life just appointments after appointments to smile and wave and smile and wave and always look happy however you feel. A gilded cage is still a cage. Are they Tiaras or are beautiful mental and emotional Hand Cuffs? But, I guess it really depends on what would make some happy *shrugs* 😊

Thank you for putting this together! Wonderful job! I like the Greville tiara using the emerald drops, the Queen Victoria emerald tiara (all of Prince Albert's tiaras that he designed are so beautiful) and the Meander tiara. But really all of these are spectacular.

These tiaras are just gorgeous, but I make ballet tiaras, bun tiaras and other things like that by myself with beads, rhinestones, Swarovski crystals and other sparkly things and wire for it. I have different designs for them like for example the headpiece from the Childlike Empress from the movie Never-ending Story! The ballet tiaras and the bun tiaras are made like the tiaras from the world-famous Bolshoi Ballet and other world-famous ballet ensembles and they are really amazing and stunning to see if I wear them on my bun or other hairstyles and I wear them all the time! If I wear them, I feel me like a princess and it feels so gorgeous and wonderful to wear them all in public and everydays! I love them all so very much! 😍💗👉👑👈💗😍

Your work is original and valued highly by all of us who subscribe to your beautiful channel where you demonstrate your incredible talent in presentations about subjects that clearly you dearly love, and you teach us to love... If you were just copying & grinding out videos, they wouldn't be of this quality, and you wouldn't be so personally involved with each and every one... The Stuart Tiara is GORGEOUS as is the Pavlahvi Ruby Tiara That Dynasty had so much wealth smh...Shah of Iran loved everything French so much, he had his meals flown from Paris on the Concord, tried to Westernize Iran (You just can't force Democracy on people thankfully America has finally realized this) but the "Shah loved Paris so much the food,the music,the ballet, the opera, the Revolution" Edit: Credit for the anecdote goes to I don't know who but he was certainty right!!!

Is it true with the royals that the higher in the hierarchy the bigger/nicer the hat at formal occasions. The tiara Meg wanted I feel was not something someone who just joined the family would be allowed to wear and it’s for long standing senior royals only. Now she’s just a celebrity she will never wear it

In 1907 King Edward VII was given some loose Diamonds by De Beers in South Africa. The Queen Mother wanted a Tiara and it is also said that these loose Diamonds made up the Honeycomb Tiara.

The Stuart tiara was ordered by Queen Emma and made in 1897 for her daughter Queen Wilhelmina for her ascending to the throne in 1898.

Crowns are always built upon a base that is a full circle and covers the whole head, whereas a tiara is a semi circle and only covers half the head

Diana was not worthy to wear that tiara! Am so glad that it was returned to our Queen. I love most of our Queen's tiaras, but the "fringe" tiaras Leave me cold...they are too "spikey". My favourite is the Vladimir tiara. I also love the Fife tiara.
