The 61st Royal Variety Performance filmed from the Victoria Palace Theatre on 19th November 1991 by LWT.
This show was attended by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and was in aid of the EABF (Entertainment Artists Benevolent Fund).
The show heavily featured a tribute to Cameron Mackintosh: 'Hey, Mr. Producer!'.

Even in 1991 the entertainment value was still great. Plenty of well known stars from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s I remember watching the RVP’s on TV from when I was a kid in the 70’s Nothing on TV now 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Diana Ross was 47 in 1991 and celebrating her 30th anniversary as a performer. She will celebrate her 60th year in showbiz in 2021!

The song Diana Ross sang and dedicated to her sons was a song from my childhood and it played at the end of the movie The Land Before Time and it has always been one of my favorites.

1:15 I've Been To The Victoria Palace Theatre In London's Glittering West End In London In England In The United Kingdom Twice Such As Elton John And Lee Hall's Billy Elliott Back In February 2016 And Finally Lin Manual Miranda And Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Groundbreaking Masterpiece HAMILTON The Original Classic Broadway Musical Which I Saw The Show As A New Year's Day Special Back In January 2022 And It Was Super Awesome. Thanks Mate. Ps This Famous Theatre The Victoria Palace Theatre Was First Opened On 6th November 1911 During The Edwardian Times By The Beginning Of The 20th Century. Excellent. X

I have watched a few of these RVP shows and they were awful but this year '91 had some very talented performers. Never heard of Mason the former Jewish Rabbi , he was very witty and funny.
