The last line of the song is ironic considering that they now actually ARE bigger than they ever dreamed. But if you listen to the title track of their latest album The Lucky Ones, you realize that they are still VERY humble and appreciative of everything that has happened for them.
I think the ending with them in "normal" clothes is an honest statement of where they were ("bigger than we ever dreamed") and, like you mentioned, that The Lucky Ones is similarly a reaction / statement of where they are now.
I love watching your expression while you're watching them sing. You really seem to be enjoying it! And your introspection after the video is great, as well! Thank you.
Authentic might be the word you’re after. They sing, not to please others or make money, but to be true to themselves and the bar they placed for their own music. (Which in PTX’s case, is VERY high!) They added the extra Oooo bridge & repeated “We’re bigger than we ever dreamed” in plain clothes to show how they agree that $ does not equal success. Humility and hard work do!
I know you’re becoming familiar with PTX & they are now celebrating 10 years together with the release of their 2nd album of originals titled “The Lucky Ones.” It is amazing & unique & powerfully written & arranged. Mitch takes on social media in Never Gonna Cry Again. Coffee in Bed is SO FUN! The 1st album of originals was self titled “Pentatonix” in 2015.
I really like your description of the song as a whole, with the lyrics and the costume change relating to souls and life as a whole. Great description and reaction!
Jestem naprawdę mile zaskoczona, że spotykam Pana tutaj, jestem tutaj troszkę jakby zawodowo dlatego z uwagą obejrzałam tę reakcję i dzisiejsze popołudnie spędzę z Panem słuchając reakcji na inne wykonania PTX. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Great reaction! And you are very pleasant to watch and listen to. I agree with your analysis of people and that having riches doesn’t necessarily correspond to inner richness. I would love to see you react to their “gold“ and “say something“. Also to Morgan James singing “ain’t no way“ or “ dream on“.
Bonjour de France, je découvre cette chanson avec vous, ce cover est très sympa mais tous les cover de. Pentatonix sont vraiment bien biens faits, un grand groupe, merci à vous pour vos réactions , ✨✨🥰✨✨
The word I think you are looking for is blasé, you pronounce the first a with the short a, ahh and the e at the end as a long a, blah-za. It means you don't really care. I just love you! Your voice is so sweet. I have never heard this song by the original singer or PTX. You are exactly right. There are people who just radiate goodness. Your face and voice are so pleasing. I always have people talk to me or smile at me. I asked my husband why people react to me in that way. He said I have a look that is open, it invites people to talk to me. I am in no way trying to say or brag that I am a person who radiates goodness. I have had a hard time with the Pandemic, I had my Doctor tell me that I am a Social Creature with no outlet in this time of staying home. I hope that is the word you are looking for. Thank you for your videos. I saw the video for 'You Can't Hold Us' today. I had heard before, I listened to it several times. Scott has some mad Rapping Skills! I think you will enjoy it. XXXOOO
Not be fake or Ostentatious but to be honest and relatable. I find PTX , Rhinna and Billie to be honest , refreshing and relatable. You could have a real and genuine conversation with them I think.
Love your reactions! If you are looking for some original work that is not as well known (sadly!) Try Na Na Na - a great Mitch led song that is so upbeat, or for an emotional ride, Praying.... such a moving song - they really are so talented not just with covers but also their songwriting.
Hi from australia .. Liked and Subscribed. If you're going to react to the original PTX group I will be here for sure. Huge fan of Avi. (bass singer)..
