Everyone keeps saying that Megan's dress was boring but you know what it's fucking tiring seeing these over complicated dresses. I thought it was a beautiful, simple, sophisticated dress and that was what she was going for. There was an article in vogue uk talking about Megan's style and they kept bringing up the same great point: Megan knows what looks good on her and we have practically never seen her look bad, she's always on point! Why do we always look to over complicate things!

For anyone that thinks Meghan’s dress was too simple: 1) She can’t upstage Kate’s dress because she married the future king of England, while Meghan married Harry who is 6th in line for the throne 2) Obviously the queen likes it because she had to approve everything that was included in the wedding. *Nevertheless, she looked so beautiful!!!*

I totally disagree with you on the darker blue dresses. I think their color was fantastic! Not everyone wants to wear or likes pastel, so I think the color choice was a good compromise for those who like darker colors.

I have no idea if you know this -- considering you sound like an American -- but there was actually a dress code for this wedding. Boring to you is respectful to the Brits. They were are church NOT the MET gala. In order to be a good stylist you need to understand the event and the expectations.

Darts where missing in the bust, arm holes were tooo big: the designer should have been fired....and the evening dress looked like a high end hotel bed sheet. i think something important about meghans dress that people forget is that she can't upstage kate middleton? her dress cant be more expensive or more dramatic.... kate is going to be the future queen and meghan cant look better than her if that makes sense??...also i think it looked beautiful. she looked stunning and elegant!

Bigger hats are for Ascot, you can't wear a big hat when your going to be sitting and watching a ceremony.

Hi only just discovered your channel and very interesting to hear an American take on the royal wedding fashion. It made me laugh when you called the queen my Queen 😁 Some of these royal looks can seem a bit outdated because of their formality, but it's important to understand they are incredibly formal affairs and the female guests were requested to wear hats. And you will have seen many of the males dressed in formal tails. I do think Beatrice and Eugenie need some direction as although they need to look formal, the outfits they choose make them appear much older than their years and look so frumpy. There must be formal outfits out there that can be more flattering for them. Although Oprah's outfit was generally pretty I thought it was far too tight across her bust. Also you kept referring to the wedding as a summer wedding, it was in spring, May, which is a very difficult month to dress for as it can be either cold and wet or warm. I wondered if many of the women had two outfits, just in case. Look forward to seeing more of your reviews

Most of the women wore hats, but those ones that are like a part hat with something very decorative are called fascinators (he calls them head pieces). I love his comments and agree with most of his opinions, he's still learning.

Most of those are Philip Treacy hats. And the fact that you didn't mention him was awkward since you have the I know everything about fashion attitude. And if you know little bit about Alexander McQueen you would know who Philip Treacy was. No hate. Just surprised. They are tacky for sure but it's the whole point.

Countess Sophie's 2pc dress looked like a powder pearl blue painted box, and that hat was ridiculous. No ma'am. Abbie Spencer's dress looked lovely, but not for a British Royal Wedding. I could see this being worn in the spring or late summer time, right when the weather is cool and you're going to a lavish boat party in the Hamptons. It gives me that nautical look. The other one is a no, completely. Hello? the 80's called and Alexis Carrington asked for her ensemble back, type tease. Um, why the hell is Kate wearing white when she's not the bride? That's in poor taste and is very frowned upon unless requested by the bride for a theme. Princess Eugene's dress made her look older then she is and the bag does not fit with her look. I totally agree with you about the Beckhams. He looks like a groom were as she looks like she's Wednesday Addams going to a after party from a funeral. I disagree about Serena. She just had a baby and has not gotten down to her ideal weight yet. Her boobs are bigger because of breast feeding, so I think her wearing a wrap dress keeps her respectfully covered, yet comfortable. I think the hat complimented her braids. What I don't get are her husband's socks. This is a grown up event, why is he wearing those instead of men's dress socks? I like the military jackets except the horror running down the front. It looks like some 70's ruffles business, but in a black color. Meaghan's dress, at first I was like...Wait, that's it?! Nothing fancy, just plain? But then the more she was in it the more I liked it. Plus, this is her second wedding. I will agree that the fitting should have been better tailored, but other than that it was beautiful. I loved the concept of detail on the veil. I wished she at least wore a small diamond cross to make the dress pop just a little more. I loved her diamond bracelet, and lived for her crown. That second dress looked amazing on her. In the end though, her own flawless beauty was the thing that wowed the most. Maybe she didn't need a dress as fancy as Kate's. I find it funny that Kate is a very plain Jane wardrobe wearing type of girl but her dress wash flashy. Meaghan is "Hollywood" but dressed plain and simple for her wedding.

Why can't priyanka chopra wear sarees to anything? They are so elegant and formal, she can showcase the culture at the international stage? Instead she usually wears ugly dresses wtf! Not a lot of people know thus, but she starred in an bollywood song called desi girl, she looked hot as fuck and revived the saree in the indian youth! i need her to have a saree moment!

No one will probably ever see this, but the English society wear hats for weddings. And typically the bigger the better, if you have a small hat it’s seen as snubbing the couple.
