Decided to watch this to enjoy Zara and Mike. When I saw the Queen and Prince Philip I just started to cry. She has been marvellous Queen, we have been so lucky to have her.
This is a beautiful church, or Kirk as they are in Scotland. We walked by Canongate Kirk every time we left our flat. We stayed at a flat about a block from it and a few blocks up the Royal Mile from Holyrood Palace. Can’t wait to go back there again! A Magical place, indeed! Beautiful Kirk for a wedding. Watching this for the first time in 2022, I can say that we have seen Zara and Mike really perform well with regard to their responsibilities. We have just had the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. No Duke of Edinburgh, sadly. Her Majesty quite frail. So much has changed since this video. Nevertheless Princess Anne and her husband Tim have been great, H.M. is of course amazing. Prince Charles and Camilla have done well, all things considered. Prince William and his beautiful Catherine are universally loved and respected.
Royal titles were never an option. They would only have received the honourary titles from their father. By that I mean lord or lady etc. The same with Princess Margarets children. Only children of a prince receive royal titles

the only thing I remember about that day apart from it being my birthday was that I moved from Dundas St to Bruntsfield and it was a royal (pun intended) pain in the a*se with all those people swarming the streets!

Titles in Britain are inherited thru the male line not the female line. So it doesn’t matter that her maternal grandmother is a queen, her fathers a commoner therefore she is a “commoner”.

I base my views, the opposite of yours, on knowledge gained from 30 years experience at Buckingham Palace, 20 of those years in The Queen's private office. I won't try to change your mind, you have your own views. All I will say is that the truth is so very different to the fairy tale that you believe. Much of the truth is now in the public domain, if you want to check. Why must everyone pick at Camilla - for what she wears, for what she does, etc, etc. "A Good Time was had by all" should be the mantra. Zara & Mike are a great couple.... And a Good time was had by all!
I've been in that church, it's small and rather smelly. I was surprised a member of royalty chose to marry in it, unless they didn't know about the smell beforehand.

Ebenezer Marley I've been in that Church as well and for its age I really think its pretty normal. Every old Church, castle and Pub Manor House smells like that in the UK or worse.
