Get rid of 3 defensive seconds and 3s will be reduced. A lot of these 3s are generated by drive and kick when the weak side help defender comes over. Let a center remain in the middle and a team is going to have to play 5 out or spam pick and rolls to get that spacing for 48 minutes. Most teams don't have the ability to do that.
