What a wealth of knowledge, and a very well explained pack philosophy. It is criminal that Mors' videos don't have millions of views.

The orange and whatever fabric are vs-17 signaling panels. Militaries use them as daytime position indicators. The pinkish side is used to identify a medevac position.

the pink and orange material are called panel markers. you place them on the ground to indicate where a helicopter is to land. Some you can configure into different shapes, but basically the orange is a normal landing zone and pink signifies an emergency

I'm definitely going to make one of these in my summer leave, probably out of birch shaped with a crooked knife. Thanks for sharing. All the best from Scotland. Garry

Lol, I made the exact pack frame (minus the toggles) last spring, I used willow bark because I didn't have synthetic webbing on hand. I will be replacing the bark with webbing, it hardened and now digs into my shoulders. I had no idea this was called a Roycroft Packframe. Thanks for the video.

Does anyone know what anorak Mors is using? It’s really hard to find.. I assume British or Scandinavian armed forces. Haven’t been successful yet though

A great video! Thanks! Where does one go to buy the right sort of webbing? And do you frequently carry webbing in your kit for the times when such packs must be assembled?

Great video! Thank you for posting it. Mr. Kochanski, at the beginning of this video, makes reference to a packaged kit. Where can I find more information as to this kit?

Book in print and considered a classic, a mentor to several current instructors . You have a DOA channel and nobody showed up to your childhood birthdays . Loser

You need a better mic on your camera otherwise I really like your vids. The audio is very low.
