Encouraging and challenging each other is a prime motivator. Seems like any trip I go on there's someone I friended at a show that's close enough to meet for a workout.

Have you considered applying the Myo Rep principle across all your exercises, but modifying it to adhere to the Doggcrapp training methodology of a clearly defined period of fifteen deep breaths of rest between each rest pause set. If you avoid lower rep ranges, it is safe, and you can manage/manipulate your volume by how many main sets you perform, but also how many rest pause sets you perform after each one of these. You get so some much stimulative work in a short period of time. I do this, and it’s absolutely the most effective training I’ve ever done (I compete in masters in the UK). Just a well intentioned suggestion, but what you are doing is clearly working extremely well. You all look like Dragonball characters. Keep up the good work!!!

I have a question. Isn't doing triceps push downs before the bent bar press just completely burn your triceps? I think that the limiting factor in the bar press will be the triceps. Is this correct? What do you guys think?
@patrickcarr1824

@amorfati4927
@amorfati4927 2 года назад
@@Mixo1998 Yeah it’s all about specific loads. The load for them is light enough and sometimes, like bench, people tend to use the arms more than having the mind muscle connection to their pecs. When something is pre exhausted and the load isn’t great enough to require everything, you’ll find yourself using the proper muscles out of necessity instead of getting away with not using your primary movers. I feel like the bench is one of the most obvious for me because I REALLY KNOW when I’m using more arm than pec. It just feels abundantly obvious and I imagine it’s the same for anyone else who has connected with their pecs in a bench press.

@@Omar1066 yeah, my skin was all lose on my right calf (the broken foot) and when I touched it there was no firmness of the muscle just the fat lol. I trained calves for the first time 2 days ago. I'm in marching band and I'm obese, so my calves are already pretty strong. I thought that I was just going to be a little sore the next day. Yesterday I went to bed with tears in my eyes. My mom was so worried she gave me a muscle relaxer. The muscle cramps and spasms were so bad I thought I had rhabdo. Nope. Turns out I'm just a little bitch. Train your calves people.

He'll probably say something along the lines like what's your mesocycle like. What's the volume, posture, breathing, technique, sleep, hydration? And how often are you hitting them a week in terms of frequency. Lol, practice builds self-confidence, in the end no one cares, and they'll move on, otherwise why does it even matter, just start somewhere, best if you make it non volunteer, that way you force yourself to prep, timeline, responsibility and ownership.
