What is RPA?
A Software 'Robot' is a software application that replicates the actions of a human being interacting with the user interface of a computer system. For example, the execution of data entry into an SAP system - or indeed a full end-to-end business process - would be a typical activity for a software robot.
Characteristics of RPA:
RPA does not require programming skills.
RPA can work with multiple system environment.
RPA work well with well-defined rule based process.
RPA work well repeatable rule based transactions.

Hi.. RPA is a concept. There were many tools in the market for implementing RPA. examples: Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, OpenSpan etc. choose one of the RPA tool to learn. Regards Prasad

Hi, 1.I would like to know being non technical and carrying around 10 years BPO experience, how beneficial and successful it will be for choosing RPA as a carrier. 2. Though I know that most of the RPA tolls does not require any coding but is it recommended to learn some basic language to be more successful in the industry. A 27 minute long video to basically explain NOTHING about robots, but rather "scripting"... you know, what Sys Admins have been doing since FOREVER... oh but wait.. we can now script stuff in Windows and it will be a multi-billion dollar market. Ok, fine, but come on "Robotics".... Yeah... and my part time job is being a Sanitation Engineer... aka. janitor. This is nothing more than marketing BS hype on over-drive.
