Fun fact: the RPG-7 was inspired by the German WW2 Panzerfaust. RPG (РПГ) is Russian shortance for _Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомёт_ which translates to _Manual Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher_ . It was a soviet rocket Launcher designed by a Russian weapon manufacturer company called _NPO Bazalt_ . It was produced since 1958 and was first used in the Vietnam War. It uses the Rocket Propelled Grenade ammunition.

It bothers me to no end, that RPGs in video games fire the projectile so slowly, that even a grenade launcher is faster. It's especially funny, because it even stands in the name, that the other one is just a greande lobbed by conventional methods, while the other one is a *rocket propeled* grenade. Launchers can't typically propel the grenades faster, than a bloody rocket thruster can. I highly suggest watching some videos to see the RPG in action, it truly is a scary and devastating weapon system that still terrorize the battlefields to this very day.

I would like to see this in a role playing game.

Only a few go as far as modeling the entire PG-7 rocket assembly to include the expelling charge and even less actually model the correct rocket venturis which sit at the base of the warhead.

BF4 is the most realistic because you hear the charge first and then the rocket engine kicks in, it's still unreal due to the rocket in real life going off extremely fast, but yeah edit: project reality also did great

I remember when I was playing Rising Storm 2 about a month back or so and there was this helicopter trying to land on a river. Needless to say was I was grateful to have been using the RPG class at the time because it was an easy shot! I think I killed about 4 GI's. A proud gamer moment for me! My first RPG helicopter kill basically though I have yet to shoot a moving target. Hope I do that soon!
