Hollow knight fr gotta be the best fandom. The lore is insane, it has some rlly good characters and music, and there’s the animators like this that are the Cherry on top
I remember when I first saw this, I thought it was scary, and thought the characters were from a horror game. Now, I think they are all super cute and amazing and I really want to hug all of them and take care of them. Funny how context changes one’s perspective.
I like how the quests the knight refuses get harder. Grimmchild quest to delicate flower quest to path of pain to Pantheon of Hallownest with all bindings.
James Smith the Grimmchild quest is everything leading up to NKG, but not the boss itself. Or at least that’s how I classify it. And NKG is optional anyways. Even then, yes I do think Delicate Flower is harder than NKG.
According to Silksong it isn't a dress. The description in the E3 demo states the following: "Hunter's Cloak" Simple, protective garb. Discreet pockets are woven within the lining."
With such little dialogue I am still in shock how the world of Hollow Knight tells one of the best stories I have seen in a while The gameplay is amazing, unique and lovable characters/bosses, and an art style that is inspiring and beautiful Team Cherry, thank you, it is one of my favorite games of all time And yes... *PROTECT QUIRREL AT ALL COSTS*

Q Frostwalker I never got why people say the white palace was hell, even the path of pain only took about a half an hour. NKG, RAD, and GM though are BS
@@archmagetyler i say its hell bcuz compared to the other platforming in the game, its way more hard, and probably cause i suck at pogo nail and platforming in general, and never focus on anything other than being better at fighting bosses
@@cry9529 well honestly my ablity to pogo is a direct result of bull rush style of combat. my best charm set up for the palice simply consisted of quicknail, mark of pride (or was it long nail....), honey mask and weirdly sharp shadow. got me through it all so easily. maybe not quickly, but easily.
Ghost: a balanced character with well rounded stats,doesn't really excel at anything but is very versatile Hornet: very mobile,lower damage but a decent amount of health,her needle also has very good range Vessel: slower than most but dishes out nuke level damage,very good for tanking and trading damage Quirrel: a glass cannon,high mobility and incredibly high damage but very low health and low defense Zote: only does 1 hit point of damage per attack,top speed is walk speed for other characters,face plants every time he jumps,has virtually no defense but has the health of a fortress made of industrial grade steel HERE COMES SOME NEW CHALLENGERS Lost kin: high damage,decent health and mobility but is purely a close range fighter,has lots of rush down moves and is good for an agressive berserker style of play Grimm: few melee options,but is very mobile,health is on the lower side but his long ranged spells make up for that,also has alot of area of effect moves Ogrum: avarge mobility and damage,lots of health and many useful midranged moves Hegemol: highest defense out of all the characters,high damage and decent health but is incredibly slow and takes quite awhile to charge attacks,but when they hit they hit like a bus Zemer: a healer character,she can heal herself aswell as others,she has average stats and her large nail does decent damage Oro: decent mobility,high damage and defense but is purely melee,another good character for an agressive playstyle Lace: low defense and health,but is very agile and has average damage Carmelita: high mobility,lower damage but can command her ants to attack and deal damage overtime Wyrm (Pale King): doesn't actually fight himself,but instead summons wingsmoulds and kingsmoulds to fight for him,well rounded stats with average health and mobility (Thanks to shadowcups for some of these ideas)
I can imagine this in an actual RPG- Ghost: Yo team you got the potions? We need it for our next boss battle. Quirrel: Primal aspid? Vessel: Quirrel for the last time it isn't a boss, you just have the worst hp out of all of us. Hornet: Leave em be, at least he doesn't deal 1 damage every turn. Zote: I will break your god forsaken horns off, burn and melt your spine, cook it in a cauldron made out of your tears and sweat, then force them down your throat. (I know it isn't funny i just wanted to write something-)

With the over ambition, long development, and now team cherry already having took fan's money in Kickstarter, it seems more and more likely. Then again, there were those trailer which made the game look almost complete. Who knows, I hope it survives.

hollyylloh And it is now on switch, it’s 15 dollars. Best use of money ever. My first play though clocked in at 40 hours. Not because it’s hard or I kept on dieing but rather because it was so long And I didn’t even intend on getting all 112 percent. I say get it and if you aren’t satisfied on how much it is, well a Sequel is right around the corner

I remember watching this before playing hollow knight and I was like 'this seems like a really interesting game' and I played it after that. Like a lot(I finished it 100% on steam but I'm STILL playing it actually hahah) Now watching this again and understanding everything feels so nice. Also HK is my fave game now and I'm so excited for HK Silksong!
As everyone is saying, the game is called Hollow Knight. It’s a metroidvania with a rich story and amazing soundtrack. There are a bunch of NPC’s that are all fun to be around and unique, also true to a metroidvania the world is huge and you can find things in a place that you could’ve sworn you found everything in. I recommend this game to anyone looking for something to play and best of all it’s priced at 15 dollars (which in my opinion is extremely underpriced for a game this great). Btw there’s DLC and every DLC is free. That thing called Silksong is the next game (it was supposed to be DLC but Team Cherry ended up making it into an entirely new game). .

I just love it how we have the pure vessel, ghost and hornet being badass... Then we get zote. Also in the beginning, I love it how it shows a character select screen with the four most popular characters.

@@zebaguettefromfrance1287 Tip: Clear out the path for the flower, resting at no benches. Go grab the flower. The only enemies that respawn, since you didn't sit at a bench, are so weak they shouldn't be an issue.

I find it odd that in the “dead” versions of the select screen, that hornet is the only character that isn’t immediately referred to as a file, and is simply unavailable. This implies in my mind that hornet is the only real person.
It sort of makes sense? If the "file" bit means they die, it's accurate, because we never see her die. She doesn't die in the game, not even Sealed Siblings ending, because she's just sleeping forever.
