RPD was a better option than the RPK, made more sense next to the M60. RPK would make more sense if you added something like the M27 IAR for Security.

@@r0b3rt_959 should have added a Soviet or perhaps middle-eastern style LMG that isn't based off the AK. Can't think of any off the top of my head...

What I don't know is why the SAR Galil is in the gunner slot. Especially since I'm pretty sure there is a LMG version. I do like that the RPK is select fire though. But Galil being an AK based design, I suppose it would have been redundant to have the LMG variant? But we already have ACE and several AR variants so I dunno. Like this RPD tho

you can but can you do it as an insurgent? the helicopter turns quickly on your location once you are supressing it.

If you use weapons with high caliber such as the MG42 or the M99 antimaterial rifle, you can somewhat easily destroy either rotor, even the main one if you don't have a clear line of sight to the tail rotor. And if you don't destroy it, the helicopter timer will be heavily reduced, so it will fly away much much sooner.

@@lambsauce5312 it's a limitation caused by the attachment system. Only one underbarrel attachment can exist and be controlled by the related keybind. Also how is it bad not being able to use underbarrel attachments on guns that can't equip them?

@@capofantasma97 have you actually shot a wall with it? The recoil stat is lowered by like 30% on the stats when you have a bipod, the recoil is at least 1/3 more than the AKM, and i know it's a limitation of the attachment system, but the gun should at least have built in smoke nades or something

Recoil stats and the pattern range are for all intents an purposes identical, and the online spreadsheet comparing Sandstorm guns stats barely favors the RPK in headshots and penetration stats. The only real difference is the way they can be set up with attachments. RPK has a free bipod, has a unique 4x scope and can use drum mags. AKM in PVP can't use drums but is able to equip nade launchers as underbarrel attachment.

He plays on PC so most PC players pull down on their mouse & that’s about it.

Recoil on the RPK is not hard to control. Stats wise it's essentially an AKM with a free bipod attached. If you use drum mags, you can negate almost all of the added horizontal recoil with the muzzle brake.

@@capofantasma97 the recoil is more than the AKM, shoot at a wall and compare heights, or actually just shoot both of em one after another

So your annoyed that the game is getting new players and traction?

We we're all noobs at one point but yes... it's annoying having team mate's who have no idea how to play the game. If they could just balance the team's a bit better it wouldn't be such an issue, no one on my team was above lvl 15 meanwhile the other team was filled with player's who are lvl 500+.

@@jacksoncronin9540that’s probably a group you ran into, it might be difficult to get proper team balancing bc (on console anyways) all the best players enter groups with each other and go pub stomping

@@Yabbadabbado0 Yeah sometimes it's a group but it happens too many time's to be just that, I've also loaded into a game where it's 2 vs 7 and the game's just started. It'll balance the teams out after a while but I really don't think it's taking any statistics into account when balancing the team's. Stuff like your Kill/Death ratio, lvl, amount of hour's played and wins/losses.
