RPS Hawk 250 changing things up / #7 Digital gauge SPEEDOMETER 

Thanks for making it clear how that speed sensor needs to be installed, i was thinking in buying one of these speedometer but that speed sensor was always an problem in how it was supossed to be installed

Check the steering head bearing and wheel bearings (moto guys tend to keep their front ends tighter to prevent head shake). Thanks RJ. Hawk stock carb with 110 main jet and shim the needle with a couple of small flat washers (Japanese carbs have more positons in needle but these chinese EPA carbs don't). The hidden air screw 1 - 1 1/2 turn open. Then cut open (dremmel) the slots in the airbox intake and you'll love it more. See Motocheeze. I just went to 16 tooth front sprocket because I want to still hit the rev ceiling even when the wind is in my face. You the man, thanks again.

my speed sensor is not working from the beggining. everything else does. even the fuel indicator. any ideas what to do? maybe its a wire at the back of the speedo that moved out? should i "clip it off" like you did at video #6

I'm hoping we can ride up to silver City some time this month.

Maybe a fork brace would help with the wobble.

I got my hawk 250 wiring right. But the engine won't start. Did I get the wiring wrong. I can't figure out the schematic right Help.

were can i find the digital gadge clusters ebay dont have them

60 mph at 6000 rpm is right. You should be doing 70 at 7000 with that gear ratio.

So does it show the gears switch
