While we talk about what a narcissist Tom is remember Ariana had his back for years while he played his mind games with everyone. She had his back while he shit on every one and she backed up everything he did but fucking rocky! I think what ppl meant about Lala and the mother mentions is that the perception is that she constantly uses the fact that she’s a mother as a way to make her situation or what she’s doing seem more important. For example saying her saying “SAH is more like, “nothing about her” and MY businesses support my child!”

I think Lindsay played a “character” in the first year of her and carls relationship. If you remember from last season Paige, Danielle, and all the girls always commented that Lindsay was not acting like herself. She went sober for Carl, was doing workout classes instead of going out and being totally “soft” and supporting everything Carl did. Kyle kept trying to tell Carl that Lindsay would always be her old self but Carl really felt like she had grown and matured. So at what point does Lindsay take responsibility for not showing up as her true self. It makes sense why Carl wants her to be “soft” because that’s how she showed up the first year of there relationship. I do think Carl should have know better but to act like he’s so wrong and to be team Lindsay is a little crazy in my opinion. I agree they are both at fault but I think everyone forgot how Lindsay was showing up in her relationship last year. 🤷‍♀️

I honestly wish Ciara was here to jump in - there is SO much w/ Carl & Lindsay- 1st of all, recovery/ addiction- he wasn’t even ready to be in this type of relationship/going into marriage- this early on. Biggest example- ALL of this. Begging for support- uncertainty on career. Just waking up, and attempting to be sober, and healthy- and wanting to do daily life IS a full time job, and having to get back on track w/ society & a career … when you are an addict. Super sad.

I have to play devils advocate for Carl. As someone who has a recovered addict in my family. I’ve been to several meeting for family members and support systems. Recovery addicts struggle with self worth and confidence. Carl was trying to figure out what he wanted to do with his life for the first time as a sober person which it’s probably very scary for him. My family member went from a few different jobs to going back to school before he finally found a job that worked for him. I think all he wanted as asking of Lindsay was as support while he figured that out. While I agree her questions were valid, her tone and delivery of them was terrible.

Carl at one point said that he didn’t expect that Lindsey wanted to be a stay at home mom - if they hadn't agreed on that structure (him being solely financially responsible) that can be a TON of pressure.

To suddenly spring that on the person who is supposed to be your husband in 2.5 months, when she literally didn’t even start to put any pressure on him until like a full month earlier to even make a decision about what he wanted to do full time, shut all of the things down that he’s actually interested in and passionate about, and then suddenly be like, “BTW, I’m planning on getting pregnant immediately and I won’t be working, so you’d better figure this all out ASAP”, is INSANE. Also, WHY are people still pretending that he was unemployed and not taking in income, when he literally has * the EXACT SAME JOBS that Lindsey has.* Period. She’s taking in like, what, $35,00 more, because all she does is post online and try to get her fans to buy stuff allll the time, and Carl just isn’t That Guy that’s going to make calling himself an “influencer” his whole identity…which is why he’s looking for more STABLE income, which Lindsey herself hasn’t had in more years than Carl has at this point. And that whole conversation where Carl DID screw up in the way he was talking to her AS WELL, with the softer comments, he was also right, that shouldn’t have happened like that, and I definitely understand his frustration with the complete lack of support. He’d literally JUST finished an INITIAL, brief conversation with Kyle establishing that they are in fact serious about working together, and it was clearly just an initial conversation to be brought up and discussed more in depth at a time that wasn’t RIGHT before they had their last party…why was she grilling him like that about all of the things he didn’t ask, or didn’t WRITE DOWN?? What?? If that had been her in his shoes, she would have lost her mind and called him stupid for even thinking that a brief, informal, initial conversation was going to translate to a written contract and hammering out all of those details in 5 minutes.🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ It was unreasonable, and the whole “well, this is me” bit is utter BS. And Carl has always been sensitive and needs more kindness, but you’re denying him that & telling him he needs to grow up, because he wants it to feel a little less like you hate him & have zero faith in him every time you have a conversation (based on nothing, really; he’s done fine for himself this whole time; she’s had an “unconventional” ‘career’ too) and a little more like you actually support him and believe that he can do what he wants to do. That’s just another form of gaslighting, her saying “I’m only asking questions”, and WTF is with the weirdness with her insisting she NEVER is responsible for ‘making him feel any way’!? What utter BS. When you’re a constant aggressive, negative presence within your own relationship and are constantly tearing your partner down, you absolutely are responsible for how they feel within that dynamic. She just can’t take ANY accountability for her behavior. STILL. Like, a decade later, and I can’t see ANY growth that has occurred with the woman who talks about her “growth” & therapy (that she shoots fake sessions for to make us really believe she’s doing the work!!😳) more than anyone else. All this season did was prove that she needs to knock that ridiculous timeline out of her head, because she’s clearly not ready for even a serious relationship let alone a marriage, and she - & Carl, both (but at least he admits it) - have a LOT of personal work to do.

For me, if Ariana doesn’t come back, I just don’t find that the show will be that interesting because Katie will have to shoot the Something About Her scenes alone and for me that wouldn’t make sense, knowing their partners. I honestly just hope they revamp the whole show and get a cast of people currently working at SUR and go back to how VPR was in the beginning with new people, I’m totally over the hypocrites on the show and Katie, James, Ally and Ari can’t make a show by themselves , so I say move on!!

The conversation at Danielle’s apartment wasn’t hours later🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ they literally state the timeline of events before she gets there. That was at least 3 days later, and, let’s be real, she cried upon walking in the door, and moments later perked right back up as if nothing happened and was making jokes about & deciding to go on her honeymoon trip still and make it a girls’ trip instead. She was FINE. Once again, does Nick even actually watch these shows, or is he just going off random clips and completely filling in the blanks with stuff he just THINKS happened? OK, so Carl and Lindsay are both bullshitting. Because he definitely sat her down with cameras to break up with her … and she definitely was not blindsided. Overall, I am in the minority and I am totally team Carl. There wasn’t a single fight that I saw throughout the season that I thought she handled well or with kindness towards him. Also, as a couple that got together on the show and got engaged on the show, I think that it was right that they broke up on the show. He didn’t do anything wrong.

Has to be the dancer line cause that was wild... I'm confused with what people are upset about with Carl. Should he or should he not have broken up with her? Like are we forgetting Lindsey is in PR? All the rumors that even came out after the break up. It makes sense why he wanted it recorded. Also is it bad ideas or were the jobs just not things she felt he would make enough money.. I think it’s funny no one can remember just how much Ariana backed Tom. She literally let the whole world think Tom was a “great guy” for a decade, it was only him sleeping with her best friend was the only thing that she didn’t back up. Genuin quetion - What would we see in a spin-off about Lala, though? We don't get anything from her other than her views, thoughts, and feelings of other people's situations? For the last few years, she has cried about her time with randal and trying to be softer but continues to act the same and doesn't tell us about what happened with Randal. I get there are court stuff and NDA's bur it's been a few years now surely she has other friends and family we can see in her life now? Her other business?

Definitely down with Ariana leaving, she’s not giving much. Still team Ariana, hate that she went through it but she should go off with her other jobs. Love Lala, she’s problematic but gives good TV

Traveling out of the Country, is an eye opener. Don't drink the water, & no bottled water. In Acapulco, Mexico compared to Florida, Walt Disney World is super clean . Do all people set boundaries . When you can be talked about, or ripped apart . Putting words in your mouth is not genuine .

Nick is right. Teresa has always hated Melissa for “taking Joe away” from her by marrying her brother. She has brought it up time and time again. The show/their status on it only added to Teresa’s resentment. Melissa has tried many times in the past to make it work but Teresa won’t let it happen.

Carl got it on film so Lindsay couldnt spin it like she spins everything. Its like you guys are forgetting who lindsay is because of the "principle" of how it went down. Navigating Lindsay is impossible. I wouldve done the same. Carl's only mistake was ever getting with Lindsay in the first place.

I just gotta settle this flushing feminine products down the toilet debate!! Toilet paper disintegrates. Which makes it okay to flush, obviously. Feminine products, for the most part, do not disintegrate, causing clogging of toilet pipes. It may not cause a big issue now, but years down the road, this clogging can cost thousands of dollars to repair. I’ve seen it happen. Please please please just throw away the feminine products instead of flushing.

Lala was the only one with balls to speak the truth and say it like it is. Ariana is performing like bratty immature princess and acting like she doesn't need the show anymore. Frankly she has never been interesting and still isn't. Lala and the other women make for better TV anyway. The show doesn't need Ariana at all. It would be better to try to get Rachel back or move Lala & Scheana over to The Valley. Lindsay wasn't blindsided by Carl. She was blinded by her delusion and denial, as always. She can't see when she is wrong and at fault. No man should marry a woman like her who can't take accountability. Carl was a man on his last string of patience and in fact he should've broken up with her much sooner. Lindsay was surprised that Carl had the balls to break up with her and she is mad she didn't do the breaking. If a man behaved like Lindsay, he would be crucified. The double standard is ridiculous!

To me, especially in the last few episodes, Carl would purposely start a fight with Lindsey and then act like "why are you getting mad?" He knew what he was doing. He wanted her to look bad so when he broke it off he didn't look like the bad guy. If I am marrying you and I am your ride or die, I need to know where we are riding. But if you want someone to blindly follow you and not ask a single question, get a dog.
