In regard to the death of Lala's father, Ariana was saying that she needed to buck up in regard to expecting sympathy from the VPR cast. When Ariana's father died, while being on the show, the cast called her Debbie Downer, Kristen was vile to her (even though that was a layered response because she and Tom had just broken up), Jax was saying slick shytt to her, it was brutal. So Ariana was saying that Lala was basically looking for sympathy in the wrong place because these people lack sympathy.

About that Lindsay and Carl’ conversation on his possible return to Loverboy: I’m surprised that no one made the parallel with what was shown in this episode of Kyle’s narrative about work. Kyle sees his own work as fully dedicated and long hours (18 hours a day he says when he explodes outside) versus the perpetual lacking hours or dedication of his co-workers. Last summer, the viewers were given the impression that Carl had let Kyle down by not showing up enough at work, etc. This year (and previous years), he’s said that Amanda is lazy or not working enough. But who in their right mind want to work 18 hours a day? What if Amanda or Carl were just working a solid 8 hours a day and just not appreciated enough by Kyle? To me, hearing Lindsay comparing going back to Loverboy with going back to an ex, for, in the end, having to witness Kyle blowing up about how people deserve to be fired if they do not comply to an insane and unhealthy amount of work, was just an omen or the evidence we waited for agreeing with Lindsay.

Ariana had lost her dad a year or so prior, and she related and was looking to help. They actually did come to a very unified understanding after that. Lala was trying to give Ariana that same hard truth this season, but it just kept being related to her breakup, so it became more of a misunderstanding than a constructive conversations..

If you listen to Kaitlin Bristow’s podcast, she explains that it was just a joke. She said on the call her daddy podcast. It’s interesting that Nick could’ve just had a conversation with her to clear that up. He’s the one giving relationship advice and yetinto something negative when he could’ve just sent her a message or picked up the phone and cleared it all up very quickly. It’s almost like he wants the negative attention sometimes to bring more people to watch the podcast or have headlines. I agree with 95% of what he says and does, but in this circumstance, a quick conversation could’ve prevented all of it. That’s it love your show, though!

She met everyone through Kristen when Kristen wasn't on the show! Yet Schwartz's new girlfriend IS a legit fan but you fawned over her-even had her join him on your podcast LOL. Were you not listening to how they met? As the cast has always said (or let slip) in interviews, no one goes to Sur for the food (now anyway). They're all fans. Many whom continuously stalk the place hoping they'll catch the cast filming and get to meet them (or get hired). Sophia said in your interview that she was taking her friend to SUR for her birthday but then they "heard" (how-without bringing up the cast to someone?) that James Kennedy was DJing at TomTom, so they went over there and that's how she met Schwartz. She said she "randomly" saw Tom there and "he was lookin' hot so I simply just told him and that was it." Schwartz wasn't trying to go into detail-probably knowing how she sounds. He said (twice) that "we didn't talk for a long time after that," just a brief interaction, etc. She jumps in w/ "he was kinda hard to catch to be honest. I told him I wanted to go on a dinner date with him and he was like 'yeah yeah yeah' (like blowing her off at first) but once we did, you couldn't get away from me." Just a heads up, on the Mica case, she definitely killed herself. However, it's about what - if anything - they can do about him obviously pushing her to that in a way.

These shows are not pure reality but a version of it. In real life, most people will stifle conflict just so they can get along. So my assumption is that the challenge of these shows is to have open confrontations about the stuff you'd normally zip your lip about and not rock the boat on. So I really don't understand why there is the hate for Scheana, Lala, Jax, etc when they are doing just that. If they were going to keep their feelings mum to support Ariana, and/or Brittany it would be real life and we wouldn't be watching it as entertainment.

The cast, you playing devil’s advocate, and the handful of real people with conviction (excluding recreational trolls and bots) have to compare moment to moment without context to reframe whatever they need to. That’s why all of the of fans are coming for Jeremiah the bullfrog and Andrew Baskin Robins… this whole narrative they are explicitly committed to is so misogynistic at its core. It’s honestly the most “real” thing about this show. SMH lol I was with their dad for over 14 years and was physically and mentally abused the whole time and after, so were my kids, so I felt like I related bc I would DEFF date a younger man like Hayes IF he had the same goals and dreams as this guy in this movie, Hayes is VERY mature for 24 and knows what he wants and I feel like he really helped Anne and open her eyes to A LOT of things she felt and how she wanted her life to be like, he helped her feel AMAZING about herself and her situation and THATS WHAT EVERY woman needs in life!!!!
