I cringe everytime some one explain them as woods. You know there's an actual place called Hollywood, California in the US right? that's where they got it from. But Bollywood just blatantly copied it and then these randos start calling other South industries too that. 🤦♂
Bruhh...You still can't flip a bike like that with your foot. This film isn't realistic and that was established in the opening scenes. Films don't need to be realistic.
great reaction guys! a few explanations: - regarding seetha calling rama raju's mom, auntie, we address older people unrelated to us by titles like "uncle" and "auntie". if they are only a few years older than us, we will call them "didi" (older sister) for women, and "bhai" / "bhaiyya" / "anna" (older brother) for men. - the beat that they were using to communicate with one another was the same beat that the nacho nacho (naatu naatu) song is based on. that is how they know what it is. it's the same beat rama raju used to call out to bheem as he was dying from the snake bite. but at that point it was not fully discernable because it was kind of off beat bc of the fact that he was literally dying - in regards to bheem's brother calling to the snake-- it's not that he can "talk" to snakes, but he knew that the snake would follow the noise. they are tribal villagers who have knowledge about their own environment and the creatures that inhabit it. which is also why, while the english have no idea how to deal with the venomous bite of the banded krait, bheem knew how to deal with it. that is also the reason why bheem knew how to heal raju's wounds when at the climax - the way they knew the tnt was in the building that the burning motorcycle landed in, was through jenny giving bheem the blueprints. - lastly, the older gentleman in the final song (etthara jenda) that you probably didn't recognize is S.S. Rajamouli, the director!
Please add these to your list, you'll absolutely love it: - 3 Idiots (Just gotta experience it. First Indian movie to get huge international success in all of Asia & Latin America), - Andhadhun (An Incredible Thriller about a blind pianist getting mixed up in a murder). - Bajrangi Bhaijaan (an emotional roller coaster about a mute Pakistani girl who gets lost in India), - Dangal (great sports drama biopic), - PK (a comedy that talks about superstition in religion)
As an Indian, I am so happy that you guys reacted to this! I never expected it! I know the action is over the top but it is def amazing. S S Rajamouli the director is one of the best because he makes the Indian culture so important to his movie! Thank you so much ❤
PART 2 LET'S GO!!! Great reaction you guys. You have now opened the floodgates for people recommending more TOP-TIER Indian movies! You'll have and endless supply of potential content for a HUGE international audience! Great work you guys! . My recommendations: -Bahubali 1 + 2 -Lagaan -Dangal -Dhoom (series) -P.K. -Size Zero
I love that you started reacting to Indian films. Hoping you guys would eventually get to the other amazing Indian films like 3 Idiots, Barfi, Adhadhun, Baahubali, Irudhi Suttru, Vikram Vedha, etc. Some are from Northern India, and some are from Southern India - all amazing! Love your reactions btw! Can't get over Rob's laugh when the motorcycle flew in the air hahah!
Though I am an Indian but action in indian movies is sometimes very impossible scenes like they can't be possible in real life but that's what makes them Indian films but evrytime I see the action scenes it's just so cool 💜 thanks for reacting hope you watch 3 idiots next
For the bike scene - in 1920 India the average weight for motor bikes was around 260 pounds. As we all have seen the tiger 🐯 scene we can calculate that lifting the bike was normal as a tiger weighs around 480 lbs.
Bro stop just enjoy this shit don't cop we all knw physics don't work in Indian cinema especially south so just enjoy everybody praising this movie no need to justify physics horror
@@Devesh-k2v and your dumb brain couldn't understand that they added mysticism with Ram and Bheem, one a master Archer so excellent shooter and faster and Bheem is just stronger, that's the depiction, mixing reality with Myth, that's how you make an action blockbuster. Borderline superhero with real emotional touch. I think it's the best way to do it
RIP Ray Stevenson (Scott Buxton). This movie is unique in many ways and an outlier in that it appeals to a wider global audience. Most 99.9% of Indian movies are made for Indians (including this one). So, don't be disappointed if/when you watch a slew of suggestions that will come your way from the commenters. You will already notice that there won't be any consensus in the comments section. Each person will suggest what they liked. Most of the movies will suck (with a few exceptions) from a western perspective.
Regarding Jenny: not sure what she is supposed to be but I feel like she's more of a lady in waiting than a figure of authority in that house. We see her standing up against violence however she can, stopping the soldiers from beating up the man at the beginning for example. She's not powerful enough to demand Malli to be liberated, but instead does her best to try and make her more comfortable (buys her a dress, elephant doll and bangal when everyone else stays away from her and doesn't care unless she's painting and singing at one of the parties). She also stands up for Bheem when the other guy tries to bully him at the ball. When she learns that there is a revolution going on, she immediately does whatever she can to help and tells Bheem where Raju is. Of course there is always this question of "but if you are on the oppressor's side, can you really be good ?" that remains but I think given that she did everything she could with the limited power she had, she did quite well.
8:55 they’re not cousins lol. In most Asian countries, kids will refer to adults as aunt or uncle even if they are no way related. if they’re not old enough to be called uncle or aunt, brother or sister is also commonly used.
Loved it you guys!! I really hope you guys continue to explore more Indian movies. Bahubali 1 & 2, Andadhun, KGF, Dhrishyam 1 & 2 & so many more. Y’all will love it.
Actually this movie is about two revolutionaries of different timeline Alluri sitharam Raju and Bheemraj(tribal leader) that's why movie has two different stories. Director just used both stories and merged both to make a real-fiction movie...
In India, We dont call elder people by their name, its disrespectful. We call them as bro, sis, uncle, aunt. It does not need to be blood related. Its all about family in india. All our neighbours are called as uncle aunt, grandma, grandpa.
Here's a quick 101 on Indian Film Industry: India has multiples languages (languages, not just dialects). There's at least 29 languages with over a million native speakers, of which 22 are major languages (& also official languages of India, with English being the 23rd language of administration). Hindi although the most spoken language, is the first language of
Our forefathers suffered worse than what it is shown in this film in the hands of all invaders of Our country India, you name any one, all Muslim and Christian invaders. For sample, you Google for Goa Inquisition by the Spanish. Remember truth is stranger than Fiction.
Hopefully the Marvel Universe pays attention to this movie. You don't need every superhero, you don't need to save the universe, you don't need multiple worlds.
The two main characters were real revolutionaries, they just never met or worked together in real life. This movie serves as a fictional “what if?” where Bheem and Raju met, became besties, and worked together.
Please watch these epic films from Indian cinema if you further want to explore Indian cinema - 1. Bahubali the beginning 2. Bahubali the conclusion 3. Kgf1 4. Kgf2 5. Enthiran 6. Robot 2.0 7. Padmaavat 8. PK Edit:- Indian movies reaction can skyrocket your channel if you upload frequently.
SARDAR UDHAM ( 2021) is the best bollywood movie ever made. IMDB 8.4. ROTTEN TOMATOES 94% (Highly critically acclaimed) Mark my words you will not forget this movie. It will break your stereotype regarding indian movies that they are only song and dance and fun. **It will change your top 10 movie list of all times.** IT IS A MODERN CLASSIC. **You'll experience the new new of Indian Cinema.** **An exceptional Gem.** THANK YOU Brother.
This film is 100% Tollywood. It is just dubbed in to Hindi(Bollywood) The budget for RRR is $72million. (They used every $ didn't they) The people they showed in the last song are freedom fighters, Kings and apl hard core patriots.
When Bheem tries to find the solitary cell in which Ram is imprisoned , the beat with which they both communicate is the same one that Ram beats in the beginning of Naatu Naatu song, which is why Ram instantly recognizes it’s Bheem. Ram did it too when he tried to get Bheem’s attention when he was poisoned by the snake bite, It was great seeing you guys appreciate the masterpiece that RRR is, words just fail me in describing what this film means to me, how much I love it and how profoundly deep it is, and of course how much I love Ram Charan ❤ who did phenomenal, and what’s great too, so did the rest of the cast. It was perfect!
12:00 this scene has a bit more importance in Indian context that most of the inspiration for the people at that time for revolution came thru poetry and songs thus we Indians looove songs which have deep meanings this particular song when you really understand the lyrics hits you very different
minimum 20-30 RRR movie reactions i have watched. all of them were 40+ minutes videos. Everytime I watch movie in reaction videos and your reaction makes me happy. I am really proud of that I am indian, I love our freedom fighters and I love the RRR. Thank you for your reactions.
British rule treated America and India very differently. They thought of Indians as sub humans. Their severe cruelty is well known. One of the English bars once read in India that "Dogs and Indians are not allowed". Indian revolutionaries were spied upon and tortured brutally on apprehension.
check out KGF 1 and 2 (awesome sequel), Drishyam 1,2, Vikram, Andhadhun, Trance, Baahubali 1,2, The Lunchbox, Piku, Haider, Padmaavat. so many incredible options out there!
The reason why britishers eventually left was because if Indian people, hundreds of millions of them rebelled, it would be a horror show for the britishers on Indian lands.
30:34 the bike he flipped is british bike used during world war 1 whick is 55 to 60 KG bheem fighted a tiger which would be 200 to 250KG thats so fucking easy for him to flip n play with that kiddo bike broooohh
seetha is not ram's cousin. seetha just spent a lot of time at his house. In India you call people thats not related to you "aunt" or "uncle" "brother" or "sister" its just a way of showing respect
Just watched this movie last week (last year did not see any of this come by for me also due to some problems, but a youtube video put me on this). I have seen this movie 5 times now and watched it with my mom who loved it. It is an amazing movie, the 3 hours flew by, I had smile on my face the whole time. I loved the bond, the story, the action, music. Such a great movie❤ I am listening to the songs a lot, got a part of dance naatu naatu down. 😁😊
Seeta is not Ram's cousin...She's Ram's Fiance....She calls his mother Aunt because In India we don't call elders by their names...It's always Aunt or uncle even though they are not related to you💖
Recent bollywood romance/drama movies I would recommed "YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI", "SANAM TERI KASAM", "DIL DHADAKNE DO", "AASHIQUI 2", "STUDENT OF THE YEAR", "RAM LEELA", "KAPOOR AND SONS" 😍🔥
Kapoor and Sons & Ram Leela are the only good films from this list, YJHD & DDD are enjoyable guilty pleasures. But none of these movies are recommendable to someone who just watched their first Indian film.
watch bahubali 1 & 2 , 3 idiots ,pk, sultan, lagan, my name is khan, ek tha tiger, tamasha, barfi, bhavesh joshi, krish, minnal murali, war, pathan, Daman, kgf series, tumbad, tare zammen par and many more ..... ha ha there are lots of indian cinema from different industries
Raju's character reminds me of "the owl" from attack on titan. I know there's a huge difference b/w the two personality wise but they do have striking similarities.
Positives - I liked your reaction, it was real unlike super exaggerated reaction on few other channels. Yours was genuine. Healthy criticism - Too much yawning. Take a rest before giving reactions and take less weed. The guy on the right(white shirt) is just too much tired wanting to lie down.
im not really sure about the action movie but yall must watch some classic romance indian movie. The love story in calssic indian movie just too good. Watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, khabi khusi khabi gham or mohabtein
I think many people don't know that Indians call everyone who is fit to be a. Auntie . auntie they don't have to be related. Like you call your neighbours auntie . And someone who is a little older but not old enough to be called uncle is called brother or sister. Like the little girl calls bheem her brother. They would even call a stranger brother or something like that . If you don't then it is rude. So sita is his girlfriend not cousin.
in the last discussion the duo MLs can sing but did not sing for this movie and these two are from rival nepo kids but for this genenration they are best friends
