Did the builder inform the client before hand about that gypsum wall? They normally do. These walls are generally internal partition walls and not the boundary walls
Harshith Jayaram do you even know 40 to 60 sqr feet is area of a small bathroom. Again these flats are in mumbai , Hyderabad and Bangalore, costing around 3.5 crore then the land rate would be more than 90 crores for a area for small house . Well i guess u r very rich thats why u r saying like this .
This is wt it happens wen u earn more than u required, because u r killing other survival options.. 25 to 30 k is enough in India for decent life anywhere in India, remaining all luxuries or comforts ... live very simple .. eat (normal), clothes(normal),small house (simple).
Thanks for sharing this Sir. We can learn how and why they (builders) try to enrich their families - 1. Fool others by lying about the value part (core issue) but will add lots of soft skills - lemon juice etc. 2. Use social connection, slow legal system whenever and issue comes 3. Since no media will publish, keep repeating the cycle (Your video succesfully stopped this). Hope you get justic + compensation. PMO is really good for these things.
We cannot thank you enough for making this video. Our building was going into redevelopment and Lodhas were the front runners, this video came out around the time we were to take the final decision. It spread like wild fire in the entire building and we unanimously decided against them. You saved our lives.
@@politicsknowledge2994 Our village home in southern Maharashtra is made of mud. Idk if it's normal mud or some other type. The frame is made of sagwan/teak wood which is extremely durable. The mud walls are built around this frame. The house is going strong 120 years now.
It's obvious that this is a drywall, used for decoration. Every house in North America has that. Here, however everything is made with bricks since it's cheaper. Drywall also helps with earthquakes, that's why they did the interior with it.
BEST WAY IS TO BUY LAND AND BUILD AS PER YOUR CHOICE AND MATERIAL OR IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT THAN HIRE FAITHFUL CONTRACTOR AND GET IT DONE BUT MAKE A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH HIM AS WELL THAT THIS AND THAT MATERIAL WE REQUIRED...AND KEEP CLOSE WATCH OVER IT, MAKE SURPRISE VISITS ON SITE, CHECK MATERIALS USED IN IT, ETC ETC....IT WILL SURELY CONSUME YOUR EXTRA TIME AND MONEY BUT HOUSE WILL BE THERE FOR 50 - 60 YEARS.... WITHOUT ANY MAJOR ISSUES EXCEPT DISTAMPERS, PAINTS, OR SOME FITTING AND FIXTURE CHANGES ETC...THATS IT...
In western countries, houses are made with such materials only, but that is acceptable because of their weather and natural calamities, but here there is no need of that
Would you rather have 4 tons of brick and mortar in the walls of the 50th floor or have lightweight drywall that only acts as separation on the floor and is not made to be structurally sound in the first place. The first option puts immense weight on the foundation and makes it prone to tilting or compressing the soil underneath it even more, potentially making the whole structure cave in and the second option makes the structure lightweight and gives it the ability to withstand the high winds at that height without any catastrophe
It's called a dry wall guys. Check your agreement if he has promised brick walls or dry walls for internal walls. These walls are pretty common in Gulf and west.
It is not cardboard you jokers it is a plasterboard partition wall. That's used in many buildings. The green mat is rockwool insulation in the wall that they tore out. Only exterior walls are brick. That is standard in many buildings.
@@rajeevganeshgarh bhai ye house nahi building he. Yahi difference hota he. Building me jitna weight badhayenge utni uski life km hoti jayegi. Isliye ghar k ndr ki diwar ko light material se banate he. Sirf ceiling, floor n outer wall hi concrete cement n bricks se bnti he. Ndr ki nahi. And this is very good for buildings. But in murkho ko kon samjhaye.
No that is not cardboard that is called Sheetrock, you can easily hammer nail ok it, hang tv etc, they are easy to repair, cost and time effective as well as less labor intensive.
@@salikkuraishy100 ik it's the type of stuff the Americans use, it's not good for India because we have a lot of natural occurrences like earthquakes and storms.
@The Rivulet I don’t know who told you Sheetrock goes over concrete wall, that is not the purpose of Sheetrock/gypsum board. You don’t need Sheetrock over a concrete wall that is not the purpose of sheetrock, unless you are using concrete BLOCKS.
Again, I just corrected the fact that it is not a cardboard it is a Sheetrock, wether use of it in India is good thing or bad thing it is debatable. My intention was not to hurt feelings, just educating on something that is my field of work. Walls that they are sharing with neighboring apartments should be/have to be concrete (according to building code of THAT CITY). If those walls are not concrete and are not followed by building codes of the that city or state, well they can sue them.
@The Rivulet Again you are taking it personally, if the use of Sheetrock is not permissible by the building codes of that city then yes I will agree with you, but if the building code allows the use of the Sheetrock then there is no harm in that. If they had used concrete as per your suggestion and to my understanding that must be high rise building. That will increase the load and stress on the foundation further increasing the cost of the building and maintenance. Again if building codes of that city does not allow the use of the Sheetrock then yes builders are at fault and residents are eligible to sue them.
Thank you so much Krishna ji..we were looking to buy a flat in banglore..these LODHA cheaters have come up with a new project called LODHA MIRABELLE in banglore near manyata tech park. Thank God your video saved me from investing in this cardboard apartment 🙏🙏🙏 God bless you..❤
But every body like to live in between population pollution and so called metro cities... And sometimes job requirements , you can't live very far from home
Hi I am Civil Engineer. Partition Walls are not designed for load Bearing. Its just brick with concrete to separate Rooms for Privacy Purpose. There may be a possibility of whole building having Cardboard wall to reduce the Dead Load Of Bricks from Partition Wall And increase Floor Height After Construction of Foundation.
the guy is breaking the wall of his own house after paying 3.5 cr and not stopping even that lady is telling him to stop. You are recommending him to buy a house in slum...!!!
@@ranbeersing109 if you're looking for more options for a house in kalyan, do check 'The Residences' in Godrej Hills, Khadakpada. My friend had booked a 2Bhk there since he was shifting to kalyan and is now quite satisfied with the project.
@@vivekarunachalam22 You Tamil kongati don't even know the meaning of Khangress, you still think that's a spelling mistake, people who killed Rajiv Gandhi are here to talk about India
Yup that's why I never bought a flat because of these kind of stuff. You can't be sure of what it's made of and where they've cut corners. That's why all of my 4 houses are made in front of me with me choosing everything
@@bahathaslam1981 dude what's wrong in that. It's a gypsum dry wall. It is popularly used all over the world in homes and corporate spaces to create walls fast
@Mohammad Aquib the outer surrounding interior wall should be stronger RCC wall. We can use gypsum boards instead of rcc for partition walls because it doesn't need outside protection and gypsum is cost effective than rcc and gives beautiful look. For rcc to achieve this look we have to buy plastering, wall putty and primer for paint. For gypsum even primer is not needed due to smooth finish .
Thank you for posting this video. We had plans to buy this home and came across this video. Showed it to my brother and he immediately cancelled the plan to buy that flat. Lodha guys as still calling him.

I am just curious how no one knew when it was built? Or no one was allowed during building process. They can't built house of cardboard concealed from the world..
@@harveyspector8367 Bro u must know lodha has crazy bouncers nd goons who keep track of construction and even they are present in buildings as guards. These ppl r rowdies doing all sorts of illegal stuff with no one daring to touch them
Its not the builders fault ... people who fall for the so called "Amenities". You invest 3.5cr and you let someone build your house. On top of that he doesn't let you see how he is building and you still go-ahead and give him the money. Some lady will think 3.5 crk times before opening the window of her car when a streety asks for 10rs. Now don't tell me you and your husband don't have time to spend to build the house. The reason is most people buying apartments don't know the value of the money they spend. Best of the lot is floor rise charges to get the view of the city. If you are on the 25th floor except the view everything else is a disadvantage but people are prepared to pay. This tells many people don't think before investing
Our Laws are waste. Even if you claim damages for 100 crores court will give only very little compensation. In that way USA is best. People are scared of law suites and give best service. Here rich people don't care for court cases.
