Bought this slingshot rifle recently. It’s quite good. Only advice I can give is make sure you order 8 mm carbon steel balls. I ordered 8 mm steel balls from china. They were advertised as steel balls but when I put them in the sling shot the balls kept falling out because they would not stick to the magnet 🧲.
There seems to be a few places that sell this product, both under the name "RS-X7" and "Nemesis" slingshot. from what I can tell, this is an accurate and deceptively powerfull tool. :) I would have bought one myself and I may well consider one of the newer models
"It's suprisingly accurate", if he was stood any closer he could reach the fuckin target with his nose. It look about as powerful as an asthmatic pentioner in the London marathon.
Why didn't you put the stock on? and max range would have been nice to know. I have one coming from china, no scope, so i will get a red dot scope i think.
This is not a Toy this could actually kill someone quite easily those ball bearings could easily pass through a skull that thing is deceptively powerful.
on the distance we tested it, really short, as you can see in the video, was very precise. we didnt shoot it at longer distances, so can not comment on it.
Again, this a toy, great fun, but still a toy! not enough power to dispatch even a mice, where allowed. so NO, can not be used for hunting. price- we do not stock them anymore, check alibaba.
Seriously consider a normal slingshot before this... I have a "simple shot dead ringer" with double tbg 7/8 inch to half that shoots lead balls with deadly power compared to this... Plus it's tiny and fits in a shirt pocket and is 10x quieter. Those cans would be torn into bits after three shots from my setup. I'd only recommend this setup as someone that already owns slingshots and is looking for a different sort of fun.... It just doesn't look effective or practical for the price point.
@@MJ-hh7de "at range" for what? If you're plinking cans maybe out to 30-40 yards... Past that it doesn't look like this auto slingshot will have energy to even knock a can over. Even 22 cal shorts out of a rifle loses allot of accuracy after 50 meters due to drastic velocity drop (long rifle 22 cal is a different story). Hunting ... This auto slingshot is really not adequate except possibly weaker birds in the 20 meter or closer range. Meanwhile my slingshot throws 50 cal lead balls at 280+ fps (faster with different bands). That 8 mm ball is WAY lighter and nowhere near the energy at the point of impact. A bit of practice a 20 meter shot you can put squirrels' dicks into the dirt with head shots using a normal slingshot (everytime). 8 mm balls are not going to so that. At 75m (if I'm lucky at 100m) I can hit a steel plate the size of a paper plate with a slingshot given a few tries. I shoot archery allot as well so that helps a ton with instinctive aiming and anchor points. 8mm steel ball is so dang light a fart in the wind will knock it off course even if you line it up in a scope. My slingshot skills are not nearly as good as many.... There are people that are insane shots. This product looks fine for what it is but don't expect real world long shot accuracy or really much hunting at all. For the money I'd go air rifle, or bow. If you want something cheaper it's a slingshot.
@@MJ-hh7de the other issue with vertical aiming is how quickly you pull the trigger after cocking. If you cock the bands, wait thirty seconds, and then shoot you'll likely get consistent vertical aiming past 20 yards. If you do a bunch of quick shots or shoot quickly after cocking the vertical point of aim is not going to be very consistent. Rubber bands build up heat energy during the stretch process which noticably affects muzzle velocity. To get an accurate 75 meter shot it would literally have to be dead still wind, completely consistent draw cycle, and even then I think there's probably too many other variables to get something hitting a soda can at 75 yards consistently.
www.hammersurvival.com/collections/slingshots/products/rs-x7-doomsday-slingshot-crossbow-v2 or on silver archerys website, it comes not assembled from that link but silver archery assembles it for you
No the metal sheath on the metal firing cord slips over a 6 mm ball. The only ball that works in this sling shot are 8 mm carbon steel balls so they stick to the magnet . If they are not carbon steel. Every time you load the ball will just roll out.
would love one but even normal sling shots are illegal in australia. even air pistols And air rifels need a firearms license plus air rifles cost near A$2000
I live in QLD and have bought 3 different types of slingshot rifles (including this one in the vid) through Ali Express. They send them disassembled in 2 separate packages to ensure customs clearance.
No... You'd be lucky to be able to take out a tiny bird at close range. Rabbit or squirrel... Not nearly enough power. He's shooting 8mm steel at just over 210fps... Hunting setups need like 12 mm steel or better yet 45 Caliber lead balls at 250 fps. Massive difference in power. A typical "wrist rocket" is probably 1.5-2x the power of this setup.... A decent homemade sling shot with flat bands is like 3-4 x power. This is a plinker / fun toy. Don't hunt with this.
@@shaunelliott3759 Probably more powerful, check out the follow up speed test video for this rs x7, 219 fps, less than 3.5fpe. My dad's cp1 has more power and about 1/10th the weight lol.
It's a piece of shite! You are the only person to give it a good review. Funny how you are selling it. I wouldn't buy anything from you after watching this, be honest and say it's just a toy! Edit. I have seen in the comments that you have described this as a useless toy. Delete this video if you are running a business as it does you no favours!
We don't sell it and never did. Many of the videos we do- are on the gear we do not sell, they are done for various reasons, not intended to bring us sales. this video- and comments you mentioned- ours - calling ti useless toy- dead honest, and hopefully they served their purpose- saved others from wasting their money on it. no idea what your point really is , and to be honest don't care, as for your "custom" -more than welcome to take it elsewhere, we can definitely live without it.
