Hello Everyone, My name is Kodiak, and welcome to episode 6 of "The Ultimate Goal" which follows my journey to achieve Master of All, 5.6 Billion total XP, Ultimate Slayer, Golden Reaper, Max Runescore, and eventually... True Trim.
55 Deathtouched Darts at Ambassador has been a video I have wanted to make for a long time. It took many weeks of watching for the traveling merchant, weekly challenges, monthly rewards, yak trak rewards, and the mental health box rewards which helped me get the last few I needed.

I actually had a dream of building a 0 kc crossbow on my ironman. I had collected about 15 darts before they released ambassador. I got up to about 25 darts before I decided to take a break from the game. I ended up using them at KK and I got 2 perfect chitins and an offhand longsword. Went to KK with my friends later that day and got a rapier. I mostly melee with my trimmed masterwork and zgs, so I didn’t feel like clearing the whole dungeon to use all my darts.

0kc crossbow on an ironman would have been awesome to see lol. I normally clear with melee, this was my first time clearing the dungeon with magic. Took me about 20 minutes to clear to amby cause i would sometimes get back to taraket and the kill wouldn’t count cause 15 minutes hadn’t passed yet

so when you go for amby do you have to run through the whole elite dungeon each time?

Yeah full run each time. Took me about 18-20 minutes on average for each dart run

I did 50 darts at nex, and only got a virtus piece. huge huge mistake. nice video btw

Yeah the drops from nex never seem to profit from costs of darts. I am hoping to do a part 2 once I get a couple more darts :)

That is a demon slayer crossbow and it is a rare drop from Kal’gerion Demons. (3/2048 drop chance)

Good vid, dtd are a bust generally. I'm still waiting for a ecb piece drop around 80 darts. I took the time to learn to solo him. It took me a while though.

What was hardest part for you to learn? Solo amby is the one boss i attempted once like almost 2 years ago but I need to go back and kill it 100 times solo for runescore lol

It does! I use the arch relic so I always have passive tier 4 luck. Too lazy to switch for each kill hehe

why are you dealing damage to him before instakilling him?

Heard and saw a few instances of people saying their darts disappeared, or the boss didn’t die, or that the reavers ring can make you less accurate and miss, etc. So I did it out of precaution to try to avoid any of those possibilities. Probably wasn’t necessary but every dart worked which was the goal :)

Yeah you need to clear the entire dungeon to get to him each time. Took a good amount of time clearing it 55 times hehe.

I use the archaeology relic which always gives me the same tier luck as a luck of the dwarves without needing to wear it 👍

No it does not count towards kill count. So I am still shown at 0 solo kills lol
