Remnants of a late October storm resulted in some great windy weather sailing. King George Reservoir is very high above the ground resulting in some consistent wind which made the heavy weather sailing much easier than it could have been. The abscence of large waves found on the coast also helped. I doubt if many coastal clubs went sailing that weekend whilst at King George a great and safe time was had by all.
