Why take e=7 , instead of e=3 160 is not divided by 3 .

You can take any value whose gcd with 160 is 1 so yes both 3 and 7 are correct answers here ( also 1 < 7 < 160) same goes for 3 as well In short both 3 and 7 are correct

p = 5 , q = 11 Product n = p * q = 5 x 11 = 55 n = 55 Φ = (p-1)(q-1) = 40 Random integer for public key e = 27 (you can take any value) Now for d d * e = 1 ( mod 40) So d = 3

He did not find 23 directly as he said in video we need to found a number which when multipled by 7 gives us either 161, 321 ... And so on. So since 23 * 7 = 161 ( basic maths) we can multiply 7 by 23 to remove mod I would request you to kindly watch whole video
